Yeah they don’t care, they keep cashing checks, btw, what was the processing fee for ngll? $20 per kid? Someone is getting rich.

Rough NGLL for the DMV teams. One team ends in 8th and 3 teams had horrendous springs. Everyone is looking to jump ship because their DD is clearly better than the team she is on. Chaos ensues. This will get a lot worse before it gets better.

YJMA DMV finished 4-4 in 11th place. No wins vs teams with winning records.
M&D DC finished 2-6 in 14th place. No wins vs teams with winning records.
Stars LB finished 2-6 in 16th place. No wins vs teams with winning records.

This is on the directors. M&D DC and Stars LB never should have been put in the A division. Meanwhile, Pride Loudoun is having a great year in B and could bring home a championship. Congrats to those girls and coaches. Probably a better outcome then getting destroyed every weekend.

M&D DC ended last year ranked #110 and didn't have a strong fall. Agree that they shouldn't have been in the A division.

Stars LB ended last year ranked #40 and went 13-2-3 in the fall. Including wins against fellow A division teams CC Lax (NGLL 5-3), M&D Red (NGLL 5-3), MD United West (NGLL 4-4), and Hero's White (NGLL 2-6). They definitely belong in the A division going off the team's history leading into the NGLL season.

What happened this spring? Stars finished 16th out of 18 teams?

Can someone add on strength of NGLL schedule to these 3 teams?

Which schedule would you prefer your DD's team play in? Challenging or not so much? Do you want the experience and play some tough games and get beat bad with a few teams out of your league? Or earn some wins, feel good, and beat all the teams ranked significantly lower than her team? This is not to disparage anyone or any team. Just a question of others' expectations.

#38 Stars LB, A division, 2-6
#3 MD United East Loss 6-14
#10 BLC Blue Loss 3-16
#34 YJMA DMV Loss 6-8
#14 Coppermine Black Loss 5-14
#54 M&D DC Win 8-7
#61 MD United West Win 9-7
#44 CC Lax Loss 7-10
#32 Coppermine West Black Loss 6-7

#58 Pride Loudoun, B division, 8-0
#89 Integrity Win 10-6
#196 Rebels Win 12-1
#132 HoCo Black Win 8-7
#97 NEMS Win 14-1
#151 Broadneck Win 13-4
#139 YJMA VA Win 10-6
#134 MD United Bethesda Black Win 17-6
#195 Renegades Win 17-1

Good question. Playing great teams won’t raise a B team into a great team. That said, being the king of the Bs does nothing for you. Unfortunately there’s a big gap between the B and A teams often. Right now there’s Hero’s White undefeated or close in their B divisions (33 and 34) but I surmise they’d be crushed if they move up to A. So that’s a conundrum. MDU 34 West decided to go up to A. They historically are similar to HW and definitely in that 34 age. MDU West won zero games in A and got annihilated every week I think. Yet is it fun to be the kind of the Bs? I watched some highlight reels on Instagram of some of the B games at that age group and often it was like having an open net for free goals.

I can tell you that MDU 34 West got moved up, tried to move down and NGLL did not let them.

This was against their will.

do they take into account how they did last year in NGLL? I guess that's harder for the younger groups if its the first year. But if you're 0-8, definitely relegated. If you're 8-0 you have to move up.

No. They would have moved up Pride Loudoun. For NGLL 2025, that same 2030 Pride team went 8-0 115 GS 32 GA in regular play then lost to FLC in the brackets.

I’m just glad NGLL is over so we can go right I tot the crazy of capital tryout season. So how does it go, 3 evaluation days and then tryouts in June? Capital has made this such a money grab for all of it. Keep the hysteria and actually raise it to another level with the academy and the tryout mayhem.
Can’t wait for this craziness!
