Coppermine 2030 game vs Rebels devolved into an almost fight with parents from both teams verbally attacking refs and threatening to physically attack on ref. Prior to the almost fight, Coppermine had 10 yellow cards in the game and generally had two players out for large portions of the half

I will say, last sundays games had an absurd amount of fouls, imo it was officiating like a rec game. Legal checks were blown dead.

Heard it was a bunch of Frednecks leading the charge. Not surprising

A lot of incorrect info being shared on here about M&D—They do not guarantee playing time in recruiting years. They still want to win, so the equal PT comment was incorrect. Secondly, players do not just flip between black/red. There is very little movement in either direction. Black teams would rather recruit from other A teams.

Capital isn't ranked in the top 10 in any of the high school age divisions. Let's stop pretending that it is the equivalent of M&D Black or Hero's Green.

It’s not HG or M&D Black but Capital gets the kids recruited, even overrecruited & honestly that should be the goal for all kids, get overrecruited.

Their 2027 team was ok, top 25, but their commits were very strong.

They get over-recruited because they’re almost the only ones in the DMV who can make it into Ivy League schools. I don’t think you’d want to be over-recruited, generally, because then you’re likely to ride the bench your 4 years or hit the portal.

I think they were saying one way—from black to red.

The current BLC team is better than any of the Capital high school age teams

Haha, I’m going to miss the 2030 BLC arrogance when they dissolve this summer. It’s been funny to hear for years now

The board is full of nothing but stupid gossip and rumors. Not a single piece of reliable information.

This BLC has for years and years gotten crushed in Baltimore. They are no where near as good as the 27 team.

The fact that Yellowjackets aren’t in the NGLL means it’s not a real national championship. Sad that the NGLL can’t convince the No. 1 team to participate

8th graders can play on the local HS team in the state of NY

NGLL is run by 3Step / M&D. There is no love lost between those that run each club.

That, and the 8th graders already playing in HS.

BS, you telling me they don’t move kids from black to red summer before soph year? You would be a liar.

Both are good but yes 2027 BLC a bit better.

The top teams basically trade players going into 10th grade. Summer before 9th you get some of the better 'B' team players leaving to get on another club's 'A' team if possible. And then the bottom of the 'A' rosters get bumped down to 'B' and usually get stuck there and may leave for an equal club that only has one team rather than be below all of the 'A' team players of that club.
