Preppy Boys Names? or Names that mean something in another language?

| Baby boy #2 is due soon, and I am still name searching. I like the idea of something preppy.....and I know there are plenty of preppy names floating around the DC area. What are some of your favorite preppy names for boys? I also like the idea of a name that means something in another language (for instance, Agape means "love" in Greek, or Leibe means "Love" in German, etc.). Would love to hear some ideas! |

Trey is the ultimate preppy name because it's the standard nickname for someone who's a third. It loses all preppiness if it's a given name. |

The names you listed OP didn't strike me as all that preppy. When I think of "preppy" names they don't strike me as all that meaningful in general.
To me these are preppy boys names--Parker, Chase, Tucker, Walker, Spencer, Stone, Jackson, Porter, Preston, Dawson. I don't really care for any of them. The names you mentioned made me think of Jude (meaning Praise), Felix (meaning happy), Emmet (meaning truth). |
