Sad thing is, I believe some relationships between Senators was destroyed today.

And, this could have all been avoided had proper procedure been followed.

I don't like Kavanaugh. But it's just a hard fact of life that accusations without evidence about events from 35+ years ago are unlikely to succeed -- and will draw a backlash.

It's called karma.

That's not what karma means.

And did you sleep through MeToo?

Ford: I don’t think so.

Mitchell: Do you know who did?

Ford: Not yet, no.

The lawyers said they paid for it! Did you not watch?!
She also said she has had to move twice since then.

And?

Polys cost hundreds/thousands. They are not free. She doesn't know "yet" who paid for it?

What does moving have to do with who paid for the poly?

Thanks, Diane, for sitting on the issue for 7 weeks. You fool.

That’s my belief as well. And, that he lied about never having blacked out. Or he might not know he ever blacked out unless someone brought up what happened.

Why do you believe Leland Keyser is refusing to confirm this ever took place? Ford volunteered her as her witness, after all.

She said she didn't remember the party. NOT THE SAME!

She also said she does not know Kavanaugh. A bigger statement, IMO.

I don't think you know what karma means. Karma is having Brett Kavanaugh brought down because of his sexual exploits.

This whole thing has actually set MeToo back. It is never ever helpful to have an innocent man accused of false allegations.

This is dead on.

Many of these incidents just don't seem like a big deal to the perpetrators. This mentality is common among bullies as well. They often genuinely don't see what they are going as particularly awful and feel like the victim is making a big deal over nothing. Kavanaugh is probably stonewalling because he genuinely feels unfairly vilified over what he regards as mostly harmless youthful hijinx that are being blown out-of-proportion.

That's basically the Republican position on sexual assault.

A smaller statement, imo. If she doesn't know who he is, how could she know if she was ever at a get-together at the same time as he was?

Ford conducted herself as a first class liar. She has a successful future in Hollywood with Harvey's crowd.
