Within those parameters, youhave some of the most competitive clubs in the Northest. Consider Arlington, McLean, Loudon, FCV, Btehsda, MUFC, Frederick, Pipeline, Baltimore Celtic, and VDA.

I'm going to have to challenge VDA. They have fallen so far apart, they don't even have enough players to send teams to San Diego for the final showcase. Only their 04 team survives.

Whaaaaaaa!

They may not be the only ones with the same problems

Some people are not paying for the San Diego trip after being cut.

Fine, but how many are they cutting to not be able to even field a team?

It's a DA event. MAYBE it's because they're going ECNL?

According to VDA parents I know, VDA couldn't field a team in multiple age groups due to lack fo players. Therefore, players leaving VDA to join other Da teams are trying to go to SD with them (FCV, etc)

VDA is in a far bigger free fall than McLean.

This baffles me.

1) Why is Green not in CCL as they usually are at U10? Why does anything need to change?

2) Why move Green and White to NCSL at all for U11/U12 in the first place?

With ECNL, Green will essentially be the current white team and they are not that great in CCL2 so why would they automatically get bumped to CCL when they are not competitive enough in their current league. Other clubs like Arlington and Loudoun are able to stay in CCL b/c their 2nd and 3rd teams are competitive with other club's top teams.

How can newly acquired players for the 2019 season play on a current 2018 team.

They're not on the current 2018 roster which expires in July. You must be on the roster..period.

Plus, they are still on their home team roster until a certain expiration date.

I'm not saying they will go or they won't go. I'm just saying VDA players want to but can't b/c VDA couldn't field a team.

Why can't VDA add them to their roster? In DA additions can be made midseason. I don't know if there is a deadline or not after which it is not possible but I do know players were added around midseason to one DA team.

^^^ that's backward. It needs FCV or Spirit to take them.

April 7 was the deadline to add to DA roster.

I'm going to San Diego.

Couldn't care less if kids dont want to go.

Bring 15 instead of 20. Oh well. More time for my kid and no one sits out a game.

Outside of that, you can catch me at the beach swimming with the Great Whites.

Loudoun and ASA CCL teams will be weaker in the fall since they will now be second team vs first. I wonder if they will have to drop to CCL2 or if they have to fail first.

Arlington 04 boys "second team" just "failed" by winning the state cup.
