Wow, that's pretty damn telling. That's a flat-out admission that the intention is to simply bring Kavanaugh down with unfounded accusations.

Not it isn't. It is admitting that this is not a criminal proceeding and "beyond reasonable doubt" doesn't apply.

How about just meeting minimal standards like corroborating evidence that's not hearsay?

So we still need video and 5 upstanding Christian white men who personally witnessed the assault and are willing to testify to prove a sexual assault happened?

Great. Good to know.

Yes. Our country is in real trouble if a man’s life can be destroyed based on mere allegations. A truly sad day.

Kavanaugh has apparently destroyed more than one woman’s life. But that’s okay, right?

These women’s lives seem perfectly fine.

The SJC has their investigators working on each complaint.

Hey - if the FBI could miss Kavanaugh participating in the gang rape of minors, why would you want them to do other investigations involving Kavanaugh?

She signed an sworn statement. The risks to her are HUGE here. She risked it all. And there are other witnesses who have agreed to come forward to corroborate her statement.

I think the people criticizing her should remember that Kavanaugh's mother was the county prosecutor now. The other guys who were taking turns raping girls were most likely similarly well connected.
Sexual assault back then, hell, even in 2006, was not taken seriously or prosecuted EVEN WHEN THERE WAS EVIDENCE, EVEN WHEN IT WAS REPORTED. The criticism of her for not reporting sooner is ridiculous.

So where are these corroborating witnesses? Quite a bomb to drop without them being ready to also release corroborating statements.

You mean like a polygraph and signed sworn affidavits, as has been submitted under penalty of perjury?

How about we get Mark Judge and the other witnesses to appear before the committee? Why won't they be asked to come? Clearly they are hiding something.

If I were innocent, I wold want an FBI investigation and anyone and everyone to come and testify in person that I was innocent.

As a woman who has two sons, I'm enraged. I told them and my husband the only thing that separates them from Kavanaugh's fate is decent moral women. Any woman now can accuse her husband of rape and all it would take is her allegation and a few tears to destroy him.

Lots of men go their entire lives without being accused of sexual assault. Want to know why?

They don't commit sexual assault. That's the advice I would be giving my sons if I were you.

The presumption of innocence is a basic human rights value. But not for the alt-left crazies.

WTF do you think this is a trial? No. You don't get to be a supreme court justice if you do these things. Women are not prey.
If he is innocent he should ask for a FULL FBI INVESTIGATION.

The truth is IMPORTANT.

But, don’t allow them to attend parties or even associate with girls/women. That might come back to bite them with a false accusation 35 years down the road.

There is nothing in her statement that could be taken as a lie, because it was so deliberately carefully crafted. Because, unlike with Kavanaugh, she would have the benefit of doubt.

They are not even safe simply sticking with men.

And Hillary's life has been fully intact? She spent over 20 years being completely castigated by the right with nary a charge or parking ticket.

What was this college student doing partying with high schoolers with whom she hadn't even gone to high school with? In what bizarro world does that happen?

The SJC staff are partisan. Wouldn't you want a full investigation by unbiased investigators to clear your name?
