Hayfield Football Coach Fired

Wow, she is absolutely terrible at this job.

There has been a huge outpouring from the FCPS community with almost all students, parents and staff entirely in support of VHSL's ban, yet she writes as if everyone is on Hayfield's side.

Transfers have always occurred but he took it three levels higher. There is over 30 new transfers to Hayfield and about 80% of their starters are new players.

high schoolers all across FCPS are following this very closely. What an interesting message for the superintendent to sent out to them about integrity and cheating and sportsmanship.

Two things:

1.) The actual Fairfax County residents need to be at that 12/4 hearing in support of VHSL

2.) if a team chooses to play Hayfield, pack the stands for that team every game. If your team isn’t playing somebody else, go the game. For instance, go to the Edison v Hayfield game and pack the stands for Edison.

Obviously Reid has not heard that the majority is not with Freedom/Hayfield Football.

Dr. Reid is the downfall of fcps. She has no rules and doesn’t enforce anything. The new principal at Centreville approved of all these transfers so they could play for Hayfield(he was only there for the last 4 months. Then was given a promotion to the first principal job available.

I'm planning on attending the Hayfield-Edison game and I'll sit on the Edison side. I'll plan on reporting back the mood/crowd. Since Edison is less than 3 miles away from Hayfield, they may get a decent away crowd/protest crowd.

The South County coach did not say or do anything racist, I don't even understand where that accusaton is coming from.

The principal doesn't "approve transfers so they can play". That's not how it works.
