As sweet as he is, his folksy manner of speaking is highly annoying.

Did anyone else lol over the fact that his “virginia farmhouse” is located in NORFOLK?? Is it a fish farm? Bc Norfolk doesnt even have enough dry land for a regular house much less a farm, lmao

As someone who lives in Norfolk, this is so bizarre and hilarious to me.

It’s more like the Norfolk area. I am thinking it’s more like Smithfield or isle of eight or Suffolk.

Completely against her moral code, never ever.

So are we going to have a bunch of 50 and 60 year old women Dutch their husbands and kids to live in NYC and emulate these ladies? And then realize it’s all fake and unrealistic and become miserable and lonely?

The only question is if they’ll make it realistic (they start fighting about how to handle things and realize they aren’t great together) or they part ways amicably, leaving room for them to end up together.

He’s going to leave her. He’s going to decide that that much time in New York, away from his family, away from his farmhouse, is not something he can handle. It will all be very sad and very sweet.

What I wouldn’t give, even just for a one-scene cameo, would be a run-in with Berger. Just long enough for her to be like, “You broke up with me on a Post-It,” and for him to sincerely apologize.

Am I the only one who found Berger 1000X hotter than Aiden? He was the only actor on this show that actually got me hot and bothered.

God no, I loved burger.

I’m also going to add that I found Aiden decidedly unattractive in the original series. I have one sentence for everyone: Aiden in tighty whities, eating a bucket of KFC. I still gag thinking about it. Also, the jacket with the fringes. He was the OG hipster and Carrie was manhattan. Oil and water.

Totally. But also realistic. The kind of guy you’d overlook that for, or pretend he’s actually supportive. I dated a confused, self-loathing burger in my 20s. Who didn’t?

Yeah I didn't like that arc either...but just looks wise, he is my ideal man.

The son will be diagnosed with severe anxiety or autism and they will break up bc he needs to be home. Also can we talk about WTF is up with the costume department’s choices? Why would charlotte be checking out Carrie’s apartment in that orange dress with the puffy sleeves. Did you attend some kind of semi formal event beforehand? Like the story line, it just doesn’t mesh. You can’t just put characters in crazy outfits when there is no fitting reason for them to be wearing them midday. I mean, she’s a stay at home mom for the majority of the time for f’s sake. Next Miranda will be doing her dishes while in in a tuxedo.

Charlotte went back to work at an art gallery. She's probably in her work clothes. So was Miranda.

But then, couldn't Carrie go with him? She can write books anywhere.

yep, both parents have mentioned Wyatt (the 14 year old) as being a challenge already. They are setting this up.
