Not Random -- I think I will rob my previous' boss home, who lives in NW. He always drove a really fancy car.

Are people on DCUM saying that Wint just randomly picked a home in NW and realized while he was there-- "hey, I used to work for you!"

This was NOT random.

I do not think it was random either-It is possible he saw the porsche on the street and selected that home-seemlike this idiot (and his brothers) like nice cars.

I can't believe you people are for real. I might have to quit DCUM.

Yeah folks, c'mon. Are you all going to google the entire family and try to tie them to this horrendous act. That needs to stop.

Nonsense. The brother is a violent criminal too.

So, it's okay to write thousands of posts, many of them attacking an innocent housekeeper, but it's not okay to google the killer and his family?

That's ridiculous. In the year 2015, everyone googles everyone else: employees, dates, neighbors. I think the least of anyone's problems here is looking up the killer on Facebook. Especially given that he was seen sitting on a relative's porch after the murder.

I was really referring to the inquiry into the scar on the sister's neck. And since you mentioned it, I didn't agree with the prosecution of the housekeeper either. All of it is wrong.

Seanna is not his sister. Get your facts straight. Unless something emerges that his family members were involved. whether immediate or extended, then please leave their names out of it.

This is exactly what I mean. Someone has posted that young woman's name and said it is the suspect's sister as well as pointed out a scar on her neck! So now this possibly innocent young lady is tied to this situation due to some faulty googling. Let's just stick to the facts and the names we know. A lot of people have already maligned the 2nd housekeeper, let's not do it to a young girl that seems to have just graduated high school last week.

just wait til all the 20-somethings in this country realize they have no future (thanks to the baby boomers).

this is really gross. the motivation for the crime was that a monster did not think anything of turturing a child to get some money out of his parents, and of killing them all once he got $40,000 cash. and please do not offend 20-something people by implying that they are going to commit crimes like this

PPP, just because someone is poor does not make or lead them to steal or cheat, let alone commit these barbaric acts.

True! I grew up poor and instead of killing people for money I went to nursing school.

Brother likely was an accomplice-it seems like a low life family-though the sister just graduated HS-a big feat in that type of family. There is a pic of a guy with her that looks like the perp or one of the brothers. Pray this animal turns himself in and also reveals any and all accomplices.

Oh my god. First of all, Seanna isn't his sister. Secondly the suspect himself is a high school graduate and also studied at least for a while at a community college. Yes, he was either the sole perpetrator or an accomplice in an incomprehensibly evil act. But you're showing your elitism here, and I hate to inform you but institutionalized racism and elitism, painting people with a broad brush and pigeon-holing "types of families" contributes to crime and social instability. Love your neighbor!

I actually suspect that she probably looks like that most days, actually. And I didn't think that she was pleased to be there. If anything, I thought it looked like she was a bit medicated and trying not to cry.

CBS news says Wint is from Guyana. He is not from Jamaica?

I think what people mean is that initial speculation was this was revenge for something specific, something specific that we could avoid and thus (in our minds) avoid being in a situation like this. Just having previously been employed at his company is still fairly random. I think people are looking for ways to understand this. Otherwise, it's just too awful and it really could happen to anyone.

Wow, from the article. Does she get the $100k

Police believe the man suspected of brutally murdering a family and their housekeeper in Washington, DC, last week is in Brooklyn — because his Big Apple girlfriend told authorities he’d been staying with her, The Post has learned.

Daron Dylon Wint’s Brooklyn girlfriend called the authorities, claiming that he was with her but heading back to Washington, DC, to turn himself in, a law enforcement source told The Post.

Won't is probably the one trying to get that $100k.

Maybe she was pleased for the reasons I mentioned, and I see people dressed like that for the grocery store. And, you do know that people have tics when they are nervous; they might smile, laugh, clear throat, etc. It was clear that she was getting upset so she was probably smiling to combat that.

THANK YOU! I agree you were judgmental and I think you will be in the future as well, about this or something else. I am judgmental and prejudiced sometimes, but I think it is important to recognize when we were wrong and try to be mindful in the future. Thanks pp.

The day he woke up the perp already decided the occupants of that house were going to die whether he got what he wanted or not because they, or one of them, could identify him.

There, in my opinion, is a common denominator in this not so random crime. Hopefully it will come out.

Ex. :

You could sit right outside of my house for a year and never truly know the intimate details of my life, inside or out, unless someone knowing those details told you.

What's really sad is Phillip gave this monster a job and he got his and his family's life snuffed out for it.

I just love that he is heading back to DC to turn himself in, when he could obv surrender in NY. LIKE WE BELIEVE YOU. Clearly he is headed somewhere else.

Yes, this. This isn't random, but I get what people are trying to say. It looks like a pretty thin connection unless there turns out to be deeper professional relationship between SS and the suspect.

Hope he is caught/turns himself in soon and there will be more answers.
