Ukrainian victory over Russia is inevitable

Where is the Russian victory here?

Best case, they keep their gains in Donbas and Crimea. But no one on the planet recognizes it. Sanctions stay on forever. Russia is a pariah state. Their economy tanks. Russians become poorer. There will be endless local resistance. Most Russian soldiers will die one way or another. Much of the area will be uninhabitable for decades anyway because of mines. The entire planet loathes Russia. Europe moves on from Russian energy. They used to have Germany paying a premium. Now it's just India taking advantage of Russia's weakness.

Sanctions will not be forever

If you are under 40, you will see all sanctions lifted in your lifetime

Here's a more likely best case scenario. Russia occupies Ukraine to the Dnieper while Poland occupies Western Ukraine. A rump state around Kiev calls itself Ukraine. The Russian economy does just fine as they further integrate with the BRICS. Western Europe doesn't want Poland dragging them deeper into conflict so starts looking for the exits. America and UK finally get to enact their "Fortress America/Atlantic" fantasies. The whole world de-dollarizes in the process, leaving Americans much poorer and the rest of the world wealthier.

I am giving the US a C+ on our support so far.

I really have had it with Biden though (and trust me I am not saying Trump or anyone else would be better). The F16s hold up was ridiculous; and the ATACMS not being delivered makes NO SENSE at all.

Literally, the US controls the himars targets. Why not give them the range they need? It is really just stupid at this point.

Russia would do jack sh!t; they cannot do one thing about the longer range rockets or f16/ being flown by Ukrainians.

More magical thinking about pariah state and entire planet loathing Russia. Dear, there’s more to this planet than America and Europe and the rest of the world doesn’t give a dang. Africa, LAC, China and India are happy to do biz with Russia.

Ukrainian women detaching from their men

“ Ninety percent of the eight million Ukrainian refugees have been women and children, and many women, married or not, do not plan to go back. They are moving on and developing new, entrenched lives. ”

The “country” is finished

Unvarnished truth about refugees leaving bc they wanted to leave Ukraine, not escape the war .

Russian radars and SAMs and aircraft were responsible for shooting down almost all U.S. pilots in Vietnam.

One American was killed by Russians after ejecting because he unfortunately landed on a Russian anti aircraft battery manned by russians.

America is being a wuss in this whole thing; take off the gloves. Give Ukraine tactical or strategic nukes at this point.

Paywalled. But that said, there are big problems with that article as half of the 8 million have in fact already returned over the last year.

LOL sure, China and India are happy to buy Russian gas at a discount because Russia has nowhere else to sell it. But they aren't selling Russia much of anything it needs to support its war effort. And those are the two best potential trading partners Russia has - it's all downhill after that.

I mean look, if a woman finds a new boyfriend a few weeks after fleeing the country. , then it’s not war that did it.

They're a discount gas station for those regions now. Way to go, Russia.

Please... sanctions are not forever. There will be a de facto border at some point. Life will go in, because this is a minor conflict that will be forgotten just as quickly as it was before Putin's recent escalation.

The entire planet doesn't loathe Russia. Most regular people on the planet couldn't care less.

So - dear - Africa and the middle east are not happy about Russia destroying Ukraine's capacity to export grain. The region is also not happy with Wagner mercenaries. Russia is an incredibly destructive force in both regions.

India is very much regretting buying Russian weapon systems. Pakistan will kick their ass and they know it. India is weak. Now they're groveling for cheap Russian oil. Pathetic.

China will sell anything to anyone. And they should be sanctioned for it. But they're paying close attention to things. There is no chance they're invading Taiwan in the foreseeable future.

Sure, there are a lot of amoral states that don't give a damn. But there are huge costs to doing business with Russia. South Africa is figuring that out now.

Russia is a pariah state and it will be for decades.

Ignore. Natasha needs new propaganda. The article basically says "the number of divorces dropped to 17,893 in 2022 from 29,587 in 2021"

News flash. "In 2019, Military One Source reported that 30,608 [US] active duty, guard, and reserve marriages ended in divorce" Why? A lot of women don't want to be single moms, so they tend to divorce military men on long deployments. <Yawn>

What you didn't mention was what the Russian divorce rate is. 2021 - 644,210

Why?

"Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko said that women should give birth as early in life as possible rather than pursuing their education and building careers."
“A belief has developed that a woman should first get an education and build a career and that only after that should she think about having children."
"this “responsibility” should be explained to girls “in their school days” and should be promoted on Russia’s online government services portal. He said that postponing childbirth is a “depraved practice”
"Murashko called for over-the-counter sales of emergency contraceptives to be restricted in Russia by the end of this year"
https://meduza.io/en/news/2023/07/18/russian-health-minister-says-women-should-give-birth-as-early-as-possible-rather-pursuing-careers

"Russian media published a video allegedly from a school in temporarily occupied Crimea, where children are taught to assemble a machine gun, wear camouflage uniforms and conduct hand-to-hand combat." [From the size of the children, this appears to be a Middle or Upper Elementary School?]

You see, no matter how you paint the picture, Russia is failing as a State. It's dying. This is a process that started long ago and is just accelerating now due to the War in Ukraine. But this also makes Russia more dangerous than it's ever been - even in the '50's or '60's - like a rabid dog that knows if it gives up, it will be put to rest.

It’s not a pariah state and it won’t be. Business and politics are amoral; it’s not bc of the sense of morality that the West is fighting Russia. You were happily buying Saudi oil as it was starving hundreds of thousands Yemeni kids so zip it about morality. Did you give a damn or were you like …oooh…I dunno…it’s complicated….who's counting all these brown Muslim kids? It isn’t Russia that’s propping up the gulf dictators who treat women as chattel. Destructive force lol.

Africa may not love their grain problem but they freakin hate America so they are happy to support anyone perceived as defying the West. The African street loves Russia.
