Time will tell on how many stay vs leave. Our team had no plans on not coming back next year from what I've heard.

Girls side?

Waiting to hear if the coach is changing, but likely shopping around. The practices feel like rec practices.

Why is everyone so vague?

I will! We are so out of this crap club. Boys 2013. Coach has never coached a soccer team before. i don't even think a rec team!

There's a reason Valor doesn't post all the coach bios on their site like regular clubs.

Union will be taking Valor's top 2 players at every age group for next year. Coaches will pick.

I assume you are talking about the 4th team coach? I know the other three have been there for several seasons.

If a coach is so terrible that a parent assumes they have never even coached house league before....does it really even matter if they actually HAVE coached before lol

One of the main themes of this thread is how poorly run the lower teams are so that tracks!

When will we know the coaches for next year?

Not for at least a month and then only the top 1-2 teams.

Yes. The smartest plan is to register to tryouts even if you are 100% not returning, so the coaches don't punish your player. Take your player to other tryouts (which all happen earlier than Valors), see what your options are, attend the Valor tryouts even if you aren't planning on returning and let them know as late as possible that you aren't coming back. The coaches ignore and don't play kids who they know aren't returning, and you paid for a full season of spring soccer.

I know its not a great option but with RTO we need better carpooling options and are thinking of downgrading clubs due to proximity. Does anyone have any experience with AK, the coach of the 2010 boys 2nd level team? When I googled nothing came up but college. Is this his first coaching job?

I hate to pay more for an inferior product, but 2 working parents commuting 5 days per week is limiting our choices.
