The smartest plan is to register to tryouts even if you are 100% not returning, so the coaches don't punish your player. Take your player to other tryouts (which all happen earlier than Valors), see what your options are, attend the Valor tryouts even if you aren't planning on returning and let them know as late as possible that you aren't coming back. The coaches ignore and don't play kids who they know aren't returning, and you paid for a full season of spring soccer.[/quote]
