If the dads are in jail, they can't make child support payments. If the dads don't have jobs because the schools suck, they can't make child support payments. If the dads could make child support payments but don't because there are no laws to establish paternity and enforcement mechanisms to collect and remit support and deter men from fathering additional children they can't afford, they won't make child support payments.

And if the moms couldn't avoid pregnancy because they are normal adults who have sex but missed their birth control because there is no access because of affirmative state laws that shut down Planned Parenthood clinics, that's on policymakers. That's a choice you made. Telling grown-ups to not have sex is not public policy.

Couldn’t they have used a damned condom? They are cheap and widely available. The mental gymnastics.

in what districts can a candidate win with just the white male vote?

?? Republicans always win where there are fewer minority voters. That is well established--the "red" states are the white states. It was a 17 point difference nationally in the 2020 elections.

I was talking about children being born into poverty, no, they need adults to vote on policies to help them, and white men consistently vote to screw them

I can absolutely blame the white men--rich and poor--who consistently vote for candidates in the 14 states that refuse to expand Medicaid when the Medicaid expansion will be beneficial to low-income people of all races but especially people of color who are more likely to have chronic health conditions. And the 12 states that refuse to cover low-income women for a year after birth, including in Texas, which has a maternal death rate worse than some third-world countries. If white men voted differently, they could save lives. But they won't do it. And they are the voting bloc that is the common denominator in all of the states that have refused the Medicaid expansion.
