Until the contributions of EVERYONE else get equal representation, so that people can come up with someone other than George Washington Carver when they have to name a black scientist, then there is a ton of work to do to get these people's names and accomplishments into all aspects of society, not just a special chapter or a special month or a special exhibit.

It is a fact that white males in general wield enormous power. It is also a fact that some white males are now experiencing life as a somewhat maligned minority. My sons have always attended majority minority schools and been taught about the crimes of slavery, imperialism, and Jim Crow racism both at school and at home.
