Why? He’s just showing us who they are. This guy represents most hard core cyclists. They should at least be willing to own it. |
This spread like wildfire there. Not just locally either. |
Even if Twitter gets it right eventually, they've already misidentified at least two innocent people. This is a national news story for better or worse. That's disgraceful conduct. |
He’s giving the rest of them a bad name. Don't judge all cyclists by the actions of a few rogue ones. |
I hope everyone who posted the one man’s name feels shame and guilt for doing so. You have no excuse for just throwing somebody’s name out there on the Internet and dragging him through the mud on social media. It’s a very dangerous game to play. |
And this is how a lynch mob is formed. Very instructive given the history of lynching in the US. |
You know who else should feel shame and guilt? This guy. For assaulting a child. For having an anger management problem. Quit moving the focus to people identifying him or the litter or whatever. That is not the issue here. |
It wasn’t a child. And while it does meet the legal definition of assault (and clearly was wrong) it was a lot less violent than what we generally think of as assault. |
My kid was run over- hit and run style by one of those middle age dicks on wheels. He screamed get off the trail as he sped off. No concern about the injuries. There needs to be police on the trails and license plates on bikes for ID. |
Nobody wants to be on the trail with this dude. |
You and I must have a different definition of seriously overweight, because the guy in the video is seriously overweight in my opinion. |
DP? Really? He looks to be in pretty good shape, especially for his age. |
I'm on trails 4-5 days a week. At least 50% of cyclists are absolutely horribly awful. Going way too fast for a mixed use trail, and passing like total aholes. So many are horrible either road or trails. |
Bicyclists are a menace on the trails. They are proud of it. And the weenie bikers who go on walking trails are equally bad. It’s a walking trail. You drive us off the park trails. |
