Hope all you wish. It’s not going to happen.

Oh hey, Anthony. Lot of free time to troll message boards now that you’ve been fired, eh?

I feel bad for his family. The son’s statement was good.

For those who argued that he didn’t actually hurt the small teen, see this quote from the Post story:

“Brennan turned to the other young woman, approaching her as she got trapped between him and a fence behind her, police alleged. He forcefully removed the roll of tape from her forearm, causing scratches and bruises, the affidavit states.”

These aren’t people who know him well but they have all said “he seemed like such a nice guy.” I want to hear from some of his actual neighbors because I suspect there may be more to the story.

I didn’t see him at the BLM protest in Kensington last night though.

Hard to believe he has a nice side, what he did was pretty deliberate - and calculated - he went back to get the flyers.

Or he had a really bad moment that just happened to be captured and go viral. That’s not to excuse what he did or to say he has been an angel whose never lost his cool before, but to assume that he is necessarily some monster who regularly behaves this way may be mistaken.

I don’t know this guy and he certainly could be a jerk through and through. But people posting here also don’t know him and can’t know whether this was out of character or not.

Apparently there is a wonderful cell phone video of Mr Brennan singing "Ebony & Ivory" to parishioners as they depart Holy Redeemer services in Kensington on Sunday. Let's take a second look at Anthony Brennan III!

Police caught him, and he was charged with second degree assault, the same thing Spandex Jerkoff is charged with, plus misdemeanor theft.

At trial, he got a $436 restitution judgement, and no jail time, despite breaking four of my teeth.

No. Jail. Time.

So if THIS guy on the bike gets jail, I’m going to be seriously pissed.

How did this come to pass? How did he not get jail time?

There’s nothing all that surprising and I wouldn’t think there had to be any terribly unique circumstances. For crimes like that, not to mention what the biker did, there wouldn’t usually be jail time for a first time offender, at least locally. (I’m less familiar with VA since I don’t practice there.)

Wow, I could believe a fight wherein no real physical damage, or at least nothong serious, as in requirng medical treatment, would get a pass. But you can knock somebody's teeth out coz you're pissed off and get nothing. If I'd known that I'd have used my one-time get-out-of-jail card long ago.

His daughter, Meagan Brennan, said: “I am extremely hurt and upset for what he did. It was a very bad thing, but it does not define who he is.”

I feel terrible for his children. But, no, I don't trust you. You're not exactly objective--both because he's your father and because this reflects very pooly on your whole family. And it does actually define who he is, because he did it.

His father's actions are no reflection of the son, but the first half of his (the son's) quote is a direct quote of the statement released by his father, and very likely written by the lawyer, i.e., He's sick with remorse, etc.

And as far as "the love always being there." Love for whom? His family? Where do we send the medal?

Well at least you can say that the Brennan family lawyer is earning their keep.

I only see about ten billable hours worth of work.

Sorry and I understand this guy is a human being but I'm still having problems with him not turning himself if (and I think was) aware that others were being doxxed and accused.

There are so many ahole bikers on the trails around dmv. So glad that one of them got caught. They get away with abuse of other trail users daily. I wish Anthony would go to jail as an example for other jer k off bikers.

Depends on how many of the press are calling him and asking him for statements and reactions on behalf of his client. Since this is a spin-off crime from George Floyd and the nation is already up-in-arms, this is getting a lot more press than if it had happened in a vacuum.

DP...And, 'love' is not enough. So many horrible things have been perpetuated and endured by loved ones. The statement from the DS tells me this isn't new behavior for Brennan. I doubt he would have done this to people who were bigger, older or black. Wonder how bad it was for his kids growing up.

FFS. It is ridiculous to say that the statement of support from his kid is a sign that the kid was abused, directly or indirectly, by the father.

It’s fine not to value the kid’s statement, because it obviously isn’t objective. But beyond that you are simply making stuff up. You might as well say the statement proves the father is the Lochness Monster.

This is what I am thinking, the man is obviously a big bully. He absolutely towered over those teens, and made every effort to bully them. Disgusting.

You don't get it, because you choose not to. Regardless of what those flyers read, he had no right to go after those kids the way he did.
