The name of the person was wrong. It was based on a ride taken on June 2 but the event happened on June 1. |
The name is out. Its Barr and he is a government lawyer or something. Said he was really stressed and has been having a hard time leave work at the office. |
Yeah, nice excuse. He's doing damage control. The Lance Armstrong wannabees are all aggressive and hostile. Every last one. That kind of cycling needs to be outlawed because they are a menace on the roads, on the trails, everywhere they ride. Trying to walk my dog on the W&OD trail is like navigating a Russian Roulette, every weekend. The problem is half those cyclists are lawyers, etc. They protect their right to terrorize everyone else, and get away with it most of the time. |
“Angry bike man.” ![]() |
Ha ha, funny. |
Can't be, Barr is seriously overweight. |
There is never a good excuse for assault and the fact that it was a child is reprehensible. |
The bike clothing makes you look thin. |
This guy needs to be found. |
I have eyes in my head. He put his hands on a child. He put his hands on someone else's daughter. No, no, no. |
That is an issue the police can deal with separately. Not the point here. |
According to Barr there are good excuses for assault. Like photo-ops. |
I posted upthread that I got screamed at by this guy for stepping off the path to tie my shoe (he was passing me on my right when I stepped to the side and into his path). He’s a psycho. I’ll repeat that I don’t think his actions were prompted out of hate for the black lives matter movement. I think he’s just one of those psycho cyclists who think they own the trail. These kids were in a group of three and were probably taking up one side of the path. I’m sure he initially stopped to yell at them for blocking the path and not because of the substance of the signs.
FWIW in that small stretch of the trail there are frequently signs up, either for lost animals or Ive seen memorials for a young woman who died by suicide on the overpass. Signs aren’t a big deal. There are a few all the time but I’ve never seen littering as a problem for signage. The only real littering I’ve seen are discarded gel packs from cyclists (and runners) as well as bags of dog waste. |
So did he have an accent when he yelled at you? I assume it's him with the accent in the video. |
