Our swim team reps sent out a note saying MCSL is meeting again on 5/21 and that they’d share an update after the meeting. It is all still up in the air but I’m holding out a slim hope my kid will still get to swim a little this summer - she really misses it.

I wish MCSL will consider virtual dual meets. Since there aren’t divisionals or all stars, they could push back the first meet to the last week in June. Individual teams could figure out how to divide up the age groups.

I don’t think CCSDA has made a decision yet. And Central Maryland (45 teams) canceled their season last week.

I really don’t see how we’d hold a swim meet even if it is virtual. Still too many people.

That makes no sense. Each team can do their own meets but no point in spending the money/time to do all the technical/video part. Kids will not care.

I don't think any video would be involved. I am assuming the PP means like what they used to call "postal meets". Each team swims at their own pool and then the data is combined.
