No, the Queen went out of her way not to be branded a racist. After the wedding/honeymoon period she left Meghan and Harry to be eaten by the wolves while she protected a pedophile.

How DARE you say the Queen hasn’t supported Meghan, Harry and Archie? She’s given them everything they ever wanted. You seriously suck. Go back to your MM stan Twitter cesspool.

Pretty much this. You are either in that balcony - or you are not.

And agree that the only person taking a risk here is Meghan, hope she realizes it. If not, just ask fergie

The Sovergin Grant will still cover their security, as its "mandatory."

Harry's father, who has all of the income of the Duchy of Cornwall, funds 95% of the Sussex's life. They are merely forfeiting the 5% the got from the Sovereign Grant for working for the Crown. Its all in the link someone posted on page one about Funding. Frogmore Cottage, their house in Windsor, is owned by the Queen and will remain their UK residence, at no charge to them.

We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen. It is with your encouragement, particularly over the last few years, that we feel prepared to make this adjustment. We now plan to balance our time between the United Kingdom and North America, continuing to honour our duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patronages. This geographic balance will enable us to raise our son with an appreciation for the royal tradition into which he was born, while also providing our family with the space to focus on the next chapter, including the launch of our new charitable entity. We look forward to sharing the full details of this exciting next step in due course, as we continue to collaborate with Her Majesty The Queen, The Prince of Wales, The Duke of Cambridge and all relevant parties. Until then, please accept our deepest thanks for your continued support.” - The Duke and Duchess of Sussex

Except people still has a soft spot for Fergie because of Eugenie and Beatrice. Meghan is burning all her bridges by disrespecting the Queen. Harry will be forgiven because people loved Diana and remember him as a little boy.

Fascinating how the press howled about access to Archie and Meghan because the public funded them when in reality - 5% was all they contributed to their annual expenses.

5% is not worth that headache and Meghan can now go back dressing glamorously.

That’s exactly what they are looking for. Otherwise this would have been a quiet and gradual thing. Think about it.

Most Americans had never heard of her or Suits prior to her dating Harry. It was a third string cable show.

How can anyone forget this famous role?

"Hey! I have a silver suitcase in my hand! Look at me!"

Worst boob job ever!!

Not plastic surgeries. The girls all had to wear cutlet falsies in their bras. It has been widely discussed.

On the contrary - in 10 years if this works out he'll be the richest British royal with absolutely no strings attached to his money.

Really? Richer than his dad?! The bloody Duke of Cornwall? And then when he becomes King, William becomes the Duke of Cornwall, but sure bright Harry will be just as rich!

I think there’s no reason to foster false speculation when you can just tell people the plan and keep moving on.

I don’t understand why you think Prince Charles won’t significantly decrease their stipend. No play, no pay. And you can bet his brother will when he become Prince of Wales or king. It’s time to slim down the royalty family and these two just volunteered.

She is a great example of get your cake and eat it too.

Will see if in a couple years, he starts resenting everything he had to give up for her.

Where does it say he's giving up anything, much less "everything." Harry never liked all the formality/spotlight and why would he as "the spare"?

You are not realizing how many people in the UK are already richer than Charles. He has money, and property, but he’s not at an inaccessible level of wealth. If Harry and Meghan land the right “gigs” and invest well. They very well could end up a fair bit richer than Charles or William. He also won’t have loads of moldering estates and do nothing family members to care for.
