This Is Us, Season 4

I meant unrelatable, not unrepeatable

Will the finale of the final season turn the whole series (all 6 seasons?) into the Big 3 all reminiscing about their lives around Rebecca as she lies on her death bed with dementia?

(like all 6 seasons are just memory sequences as they tell stories to Rebecca)

SAME! It was completely out of character for Jack to do that.

Oops, posted before reading the rest of the thread. Glad I'm not the only one who feels this way!

The writers have said they mapped out the series from the start. They would have had to, to make it work. You can see how little bits from earlier seasons come back and make sense in new storylines.

I feel like there was a scene of jack and Nicky as very young boys in S1. I assumed then that the unnamed younger brother died tragically as a little kid.

What made you assume that?

Ugh. Yes. I really don’t want to watch next week.

The whole Kevin and John Legend thing was so bizarrely unrealistic.

And the contrast between old and young Rebecca was heartbreaking.

Poor Kevin. Just when you think he has caught a break in the love department...argh. A kick in the stomach.

What does Sophie want??

OMG what a sad episode.

the only high point was little jack seeing lights... and when Jack and rebecca in the garage with the sparks flying in the background.

It was so dark! Is it supposed to be a burgler? Or someone he knows?

I double-checked the locks and security system before bed, so yes.

Rebecca's worrying about losing her early Jack memories is really sad and moving. And I think Miguel should be commended - no doubt he knows that this is one of her biggest fears, and probably grieves with her. I think Miguel's love for Rebecca is really selfless.

Right? What was that? figment of his fears/imagination?
