This is instructive (from Duke University Health and Counseling Center):
BAC .08%-.09%: You believe you're functioning better than you actually are. At this level, you may start to slur your speech. Your sense of balance is probably off, and your motor skills are starting to become impaired. Your ability to see and hear clearly is diminished. Your judgment is being affected, so it's difficult for you to decide whether or not to continue drinking. Your ability to evaluate sexual situations is impaired. Students may jokingly refer to this state of mind as beer goggles, but this BAC can have serious repercussions. BAC .10%-.12%: At this level, you feel euphoric, but you lack coordination and balance. Your motor skills are markedly impaired, as are your judgment and memory. You probably don't remember how many drinks you've had. Your emotions are exaggerated, and some people become loud, aggressive, or belligerent. If you're a guy, you may have trouble getting an erection when your BAC is this high. --no vomiting and no actual blackout but still likely memory impairment and potential for aggression. BAC .14%-.17%: Your euphoric feelings may give way to unpleasant feelings. You have difficulty talking, walking, or even standing.Your judgment and perception are severely impaired. You may become more aggressive, and there is an increased risk of accidentally injuring yourself or others. This is the point when you may experience a blackout. --most people not vomiting but still blackout possibility. Aggression also possible. BAC .20%: You feel confused, dazed, or otherwise disoriented. You need help to stand up or walk. If you hurt yourself at this point, you probably won't realize it because you won't feel pain. If you are aware you've injured yourself, chances are you won't do anything about it. At this point you may experience nausea and/or start vomiting (keep in mind that for some people, a lower blood alcohol level than .20% may cause vomiting). Your gag reflex is impaired, so you could choke if you do throw up. Since blackouts are likely at this level, you may not remember any of this. ---I kinda think if Kavanaugh had a notably "weak stomach" people's yearbook pages would have mentioned that one way or another, not just his own "biggest contributor" entry (which implies multiple episodes of vomiting, meaning you keep on drinking and vomiting). If, given this information, Kavanaugh had been asked to identify which range he likely ended up in when he drank too much (which he did acknowledge) would he have insisted he was always lower than .06%? If he tended to puke below .06% would he have continued to like beer? I like beer, it makes me a jolly good fellow I like beer, it helps me unwind and sometimes it makes me feel mellow (Makes him feel mellow) Whiskey's too rough, Champagne costs too much, vodka puts my mouth in gear This little refrain should help me explain as a matter of fact I like beer |
Why would a reputable lie detector facilitator give Dr. Ford a lie detector test on an obviously emotionally-charged day for her, her grandmother's funeral? |
Yup. Are you aware that we are supposedly not living in a banana republic where judges and courts lord over individual citizens and exert “power” over them beyond processes of civil or criminal trials. Are you suggesting Kavanaugh will hurt Ford or punish her in some way so she had to act against him? |
YES, she was being polite and discreet, and respectful. Leland's husband has had to be her full time caretaker. Unlike Kavanaugh who actually DID throw judge under the bus. He said Judge says it never happened (untrue - his lawyer said he did not recall it) and that Judge has serious problems with alcohol and shouldn't be interviewed! |
Yes, she did. Dr. Ford had no reason to disclose that information. She used it in a way to dismiss her lack of support for her testimony. |
Well, he is BSC so there is that... |
So if there were not that many parties, why does Christine remember so little about it? Maybe something will come out, but right now a lot of info is missing. When, where, why the party happened, how she got there and back. All we have is the what happened. |
Why would anyone need to know about Leland's health issues? |
Maybe the FBI can interview the person who gave the polygraph? You know, since the committee refused to call him. |
Why, indeed? She was asked about Leland's statement by the woman the republican senators were cowering behind. |
If I were her, I'd take as many polygraphs as the haters want. I'm sure if asked she'd do so. Think Kav will do so? Doubt it. |
Evade, evade, lie, lie, answer a question with a question. Ugh. Hate that we are likely stuck with him. |
And she was explaining to the prosecutor that the lawyer wrote the statement, and did not get any details from Leland, and that Leland told her that and that Leland told her that she believes her. |
This. In fact I think she was specifically asked if she and Leland had been in contact. |
You guys have GOT to read the book Spot the Lie! He is the poster boy for a liar!!!! |
