Official Brett Kavanaugh Thread, Part 4

Trolls both foreign and domestic are pushing for Kavanaugh's confirmation:

https://twitter.com/jonathonmorgan/status/1048017358596595712

"A domestic disinformation network of over 2,000 accounts that publishes 20K+ tweets per day is almost exclusively focused on supporting Kavanaugh's nomination."
. . .
"Since the initial allegations of sexual assault against Kavanaugh, this Russia-linked disinformation network that posts nearly 10K tweets per day has pivoted to support the nominee and discredit his accusers."

You mean he won't succumb to the Democrats' tactics of character assassination.

He lied about Renate. He has no character.

In a surprise twist, the latest jurist to point out that Brett Kavanaugh’s testimony was disgraceful and utterly unbecoming of the Supreme Court is... Brett Kavanaugh.

The op-ed was weak and sniveling. With a good dose of "I wouldn't hit you if you didn't make me."

You said it ^^better than I could and this absolutely was my takeaway from it.

Links are so nice.

Here it is.

I'm sure this won't be the first time Daines has let his daughter down.

So he's skipping out on his daughter's wedding to confirm a man who treated women like crap. Just another example of Republicans treating women like second class citizens. Even their own family members.

You dope.
https://www.cnn.com/2018/10/04/politics/kavanaugh-vote-steve-daines-senate/index.html

This is ridiculous. McConnell is going forward with a vote when one of his guys had already told him he'll be out of town? What was he thinking? Did he just forget for a second?

McConnell knows he needs to lock in yes votes asap because there’s too great risk that waiting even another day will lead to people changing their minds again.

I've thought for a while that McConnell knows he doesn't have the votes, just wants to get the whole thing over with and was delayed at the last moment by Flake. This just looks sloppy, though, calling the vote to coincide with a date that he already knew Daines was going to be away.

Daines is going to come back though.
McConnell really can't wait because everyday there will be more stories of witnesses who reached out and were turned away.

So sad for his daughter that her father can't walk her down the aisle for her wedding. More GOP family values!

GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT!! He IS walking his daughter down the aisle. There you go spreading false information!!!

I've seen the FBI "report" on Brett Kavanaugh. 4 things are clear:
?This wasn't a full or fair investigation.
? It doesn't exonerate him.
? The available documents contradict what he said under oath.
? We must #CancelKavanaugh.

So there's that. Apparently there are contradictions to what he said under oath and he is not exonerated.

quelle surprise

This is was well explained to every single person who demanded FBI investigation - FBI do not have jurisdiction to investigate sex crimes. Now, after the senators receive the report that they New in advance will be not an investigation report, they complain? How stupid the person has to be to complain now? If they want a criminal investigation, Ford has to go to police , POLICE and file her complaint. Not news Medea, not her senator, POLICE. This will trigger full criminal investigation, warrant, trial, etc. For some reason, she is not doing that. She does not want Kavanaugh to be convicted of sexual assault.

Distract the population with this crap theater while both sides of the same coin do nothing but help their 9, 10, 11, and 12 figure net worth puppetmasters loot the nation.

+1

Agree. SCOTUS has precedent for having a sexual harasser. Why not a sexual assaulter too?! Not like anyone was going to believe and support women anyway.

Agree. Trotting out the women in his life like a shield. He didn’t apologize and proved that he has learned nothing.

And, Fox News and WSJ seems pretty partisan in the era of the GOP’s fake news.

You are ridiculous. He did indeed apologize: “I was very emotional last Thursday, more so than I have ever been. I might have been too emotional at times,” Kavanaugh wrote. “I know that my tone was sharp, and I said a few things I should not have said.”

And he hasn't "trotted out the women in his life" at all - they came together to support him on their own. Imagine that! These women can actually think for themselves and make up their own minds! They won't be told what to do and whom to support by anyone. How disappointing!

And as for partisan, why on earth should he have submitted his op-ed to the Post or the NYT - two clearly liberal biased publications? You can't possibly claim they are somehow neutral? The WSJ was a good choice for him. Why would he take his statement to media that clearly is fanning the flames of his "guilt"? How idiotic can you get?

There is no apology there. The words “I’m sorry”or “I apologize” literally appear no where.

I'm sorry you're not able to read critically and I apologize that you've never been taught the meaning of "inference."

Do you accept inference from your kids when they misbehave? Do you accept inference from your spouse when he acts like an oaf?

I don’t know why it would be so difficult to say I’m sorry

This is so sickening. Apologists on the right lap up these tweets and repost and repost them demonically pushing a false narrative.

She knows, and her lawyers know, that she does not have evidence. When the people you say that were there all say they have no knowledge of your claims, it kind of blows your case.

He’s a person who fights for what he knows is right. Why is that so hard to understand?

I am not taking a tweet from some random twitter guy to be evidence of anything. He has an agenda.

That's what I thought. Just wanted to see if your take was the same as mine.
