Man the Clinton scandal seems so quaint compared to this train wreck. |
It really does. It's the equivalent of a fart in a space suit whereas this.... mishigas, if I may borrow a word, is the equivalent of routing a sanitary sewer through a spacesuit. |
Michael Avenatti just confirmed in Lawrence O'Nell's show that there is extensive communications between Michael Cohen and Stormy's then lawyer about the timing of the payment and how important it is to happen much before election so that this scandal cannot affect the election. So rudy and trump's latest attempt to untangle this mess is doomed... the payment was related to cover-up the scandal before the election! |

Campaign finance violations bore you?! |
You know, I think his supporters simply don’t care. His approval numbers have been largely the same since he took office. It really doesn’t matter what he does. My very conservative in laws think he’s the target of a witch hunt. |
Not the yawn pp. Do you consider campaign violations important? Because, Obama’s 2008 campaign was fined #375,000 for campaign violations. The largest fine ever. https://www.politico.com/story/2013/01/obama-2008-campaign-fined-375000-085784 And, Bernie Sanders campaign was also fined. http://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/376373-sanders-campaign-pays-145k-fine-to-settle-fec-complaint Seems as if fines are ok for Democrats.... But, God forbid if it is a Republican you want THAT person prosecuted and jailed. |
Yeah, 40% of the country behaves like they've been lobotomized. I have no more patience for them and I'm done coddling to their stupidity. |
As they should have, if found to have violated. Don’t you get it yet? We aren’t cult, to-the-last-drop worshippers of these People. Unlike the people who support Trump. It’s wild what they’ll excuse really. |
They prosecuted John Edwards for.doing what Trump did. So, no, fines are notnalways good enough. |
Trump hasn’t even been fined yet! No evidence of wrongdoing unlike his predecessors. |
Huh? What are you babbling about? |
Frankly I assume a lot of powerful men aren’t faithful to their wives. And of course they’re going to lie about it. It was hard to get worked up about Clinton lying about his affair (even if he was under oath) and I have a hard time getting worked up about Trump lying about his affairs. However, it’s the coverup that tends to bring people down. If it’s found that Trump broke the same laws that John Edwards did, he should get the same punishment. Don’t you agree? |
He paid hush money to his ex-girlfriend using campaign funds. He was prosecuted for that. |
