The two bolded parts make my point. You are interested in showing that there is anti-Semitism among liberals, even if that means that you have to exaggerate or misstate the facts to show anti-Semitism where it does not clearly exist. ....and I just saw Jeff's response to the black PP, who has been demonstrating her hostility to Jews. He sided with her, saying he understands the frustration of dealing with me (although there is more than one poster representing my views and thus more than one poster with whom she is engaged) when it is HER venom to Jews that is so apparent.

no, it's because I don't know much about Soros. But yes, I see no reason to use this thread to start expounding on antisemtitism among conservatives. We've had thread after thread after thread in which conservatives are all berated as racist. It would be nice to have a chance to discuss the racism and antisemtism among liberals, which is what the subject of this thread exposed (although denied).

I agree that liberals are more antisemetic than conservatives at this point in time. I see eveidence of it on a daily basis. This thread and many of your posts demonstrate this. No I am not going to tell you specifically what in your posts point to anti senetism. It is your overall tone and willingness to excuse others from it as well as the substances of your posts. I agree with Ms. Godbergs article. Obviously in the US, most Jews are able to assimilate or more easily "pass" because of the mutli-cultural nature of the country.

However, that doesn't diminish that historically, many Jews have stood with African-Americans, Muslims (see the uproar over the travel ban in 2017 and you will see many Jewish orgs and Jewish lawyers working pro-bono to get through the issue and help those stranded at airports etc) and other groups against hate and prejudice.

To see some posted on this thread deny that history and bond is both sad, disappointing and abhorrent.

I am one of the PPs who has been pointing out the anti-semitism over the past day or so, and am moderate to liberal. I do not understand how you can make a statement that liberals are more antisemetic than conservatives at this point in time. I know very few conservative jews. Very few.

Does that mean that every black person and every Jewish person always supported one another? No, of course not. There have often been conflicts between these communities. But, the Jewish role in the civil rights struggle cannot be overlooked and deserves appreciation and respect. Divide and conquer is one of the most used and most successful strategies of all time. There are many who would love nothing more than to see rifts between Jews and blacks. You make "gentrification" sound a lot like "ethnic cleansing". Certainly White would welcome less crime, cleaner streets, and more shopping options. But, he wants those things without kicking out the current residents. Hopefully that's also what you want.
