| It is far from a refined English Accent and more of a lower class one. What makes it so difficult to hear is the combination of the accent and a rather grating voice. We can understand why so many are turned off by Ms. Travelyan. Perhaps she should resign. She can't do much at her age to change the Accent. |

| Why are we still being subjected to that dreadful voice with an unintelligible accent?? There's no other explanation than that Trevelyan is married to the president of ABC news Mr. James Goldston. Don't get me wrong: Laura is an excellent news correspondent - but only in writing! |

And when she does an interview, it's obvious she knows a lot about the subject under discussion. I like her. I also like Jane O'Brian. The others, not as much. |

| Jane O'Brian is excellent; however, she doesn't have the grating voice Travelyan has. Yes, she knows the material, but her delivery on Television is dreadful. She should be replaced with Jane O'Brian. |

| I have been listening to BBC for the past 50 years and more. Most of them were all in refined educated accents. Nothing could as irritating as that Laura Trvelyan. She is good looking , but her voice is not the right one. Please send her to a different post or hire a good svengali to help her. |

| BBC NOTE : READ ALL OF THESE COMMENTS! Take the dyed blonde, post menopausal hag off the air! At the very least, have her forehead mole removed, so I can watch the news with the volume turned down and not have to look at her ugly face! |

| Another white, privileged women with one of the most horrid voices I've ever had the misfortune of hearing. I won't watch the show when she's on the air. Her husband obviously is responsible for her tenure. |

| I am so glad I happened upon this site. I thought it was just me. Her accent is really flat cockney irritating. I can barely understand her and I've traveled to England many many times and never had this issue. Liza Doolittle before Henry Higgins! |
