PP here. As much as I admire her accomplishments and qualifications that you have listed, I still didn't think she was a good candidate to run for president. Zero charisma and never giving a straight answer to a question comes to mind whenever I see her being interviewed. As for her being black and being considered DEI, I'm black too. |
agree!!! |
I agree. Unfortunately, she is not good with interviews. And these days you have to be. |
Pretty sure her loss had much more to do with her running for president while at the same time being the VP of one of our most unpopular presidents ever. Any suggestion of that not being the primary factor is a silly waste of time. |
You forgot that the guy who won was the only one who during the primary was polling consistently ahead of Trump in the general. |
Trump in 2020 was even less popular than Biden was in 2024. A blind squirrel could have beaten Trump in 2020. Any poll suggesting otherwise was a random one off poll of a 1000 people that was reposted a gazillion time by big money propaganda machines who feared a progressive Dem nominee much, much more so than the establishment friendly Biden. Stop falling for political propaganda and use your common sense. A 77 year old average politician with poor communication skills being the "only" person who can beat a Carter level of unpopular incumbent president with a 37% approval rating??? Does that make any sense? No, it doesn't. |
This is true but misleading. Trump's popularity only fell off a cliff in 2020 due to his handling of the pandemic. By the time it became a national crisis every Dem except for Biden, Sanders and Gabbard had already withdrawn from the race. So the president that everybody else in that primary was running against was riding high with a strong economy. |
Trump's approval rating consistently hovered around 40% for 95% of his first term. There were some brief fluctuations in 2020 but no cliff fall off until Jan 6th 2021 happened. Between Trump, Biden, and Carter, it is Trump who is the most consistently unpopular president and from day one of the 2020 POTUS campaign season, Trump was the most easily beatable incumbent we've had since Carter and by a wide margin. The numbers don't lie. |
The only one obsessed is Republicans. Their obsession with other folks' genitals, preferred name, and personal sexual decisions is beyond bizarre. |
The ridiculous gender pronoun and trans talk that was somewhat effectively pushed by the GOP during the absence of any Dem leadership since 2017 will no longer be effective once the Dems nominate a legitimate leader in 2028. That propaganda won't be effective in 2026 either because a majority of the swing voters who determine election outcomes will be voting against the current unpopular party in power regardless of silly genital talk. |

The Democratic Party elite & its pundits told you:
- A freshman senator named Barack Obama could never be elected president - Hillary Clinton was electable - Donald Trump could never be elected - Kamala Harris was the most electable option - Zohran Mamdani was not electable |
