If you live in the following clusters, the Woodward study may affect you:
Bethesda Chevy-Chase
Montgomery Blair
Albert Einstein
Walter Johnson
John F. Kennedy
Northwood
Wheaton
Walt Whitman

If you live in the following clusters, the Crown/Damascus study may affect you:
Winston Churchill
Clarksburg
Damascus
Gaithersburg
Richard Montgomery
Northwest
Poolesville
Quince Orchard
Seneca Valley
Watkins Mill
Thomas S. Wootton

I live in the Churchill cluster and I am not worried. My location is very tucked into an area that wouldn't make sense to bus kids. No where near the border for any of the other clusters, except perhaps Whitman. Plus my kid will graduate next year and the only thing I might worry about is home value and like I said, a move to Whitman won't hurt us. No way will they bus to Rockville, WJ, or RM.

Fallsgrove in Rockville is practically walking distance to Wootton schools and yet they are zoned to RM.

Depends on what you prioritize.

If it's non-white diversity, RM.

If it's academics, I think Wootton might edge out RM, but not by much, since RM has the IB Magnet.

Fallsgrove/the Ritchie Park island should go to Crown.

The post was updated with MCPS's response:
“While the vendor hasn’t restricted survey submissions by IP address, they implemented a flag to identify multiple responses originating from the same device. Additionally, the data can be sorted by IP address to review the number of submissions from each. This allows for the identification and flagging of any suspicious patterns, such as identical responses from multiple submissions, to review and potentially remove. This setup accommodates the district’s consideration of using shared iPads at in-person meetings for survey participation.”

Yes!!! Let’s go Tariffs!! Do what Covid did in 2020, essentially putting boundary changes on the back burner!

That wasn't an actual boundary study, but this is.

LOL
Suspicious pattern? Like parents in one house completing survey?

Think about the competition for college from within the school.

I'd say more than a few responses from one IP address could be suspicious, yes.

ES assignments aren't changing, so Fallsgrove will remain at Ritchie Park. But all or part of Ritchie Park could feed to another MS or HS.
