+1

Feels like the only one that has a good balance of at least two factors (utilization and geography).

#3 is pretty good on demographics and utilization.

You have to take into account, for any option, the degree to which both positives and negatives apply across the four factors. Not that the others don't have their downsides, but 3 presents some rather significant negatives.

I think all of them have significant negatives, you just don't care about some of them because you don't think they will affect you.

I see a couple places with longer bus rides than currently (although nowhere seems crazy-far.). What other negatives are you seeing with that one?

There will be a lot more options in next rounds.

DP. Very few walkers compared to other options (on the maps, they should really only shade those walk zones that correspond to the high school the location is zoned for; as is, it gives a false impression) .

Doesn't look hugely different to me? But it's a hard thing to eyeball, I don't know why they don't have tables with the actual percent of kids who are in a walk zone for each option, hopefully that is coming soon.

It feels like they are offering a lot of bad options to justify their ask for money for a new building at Edison.

It doesn't look very different because they shade an area as a walk zone for a nearby school, while it's actually (in Option 3) zoned for a school much farther away and outside assigned school's walk zone. They should remove such shadings.

Try to limit the unsubstantiated insinuation, DCUM. Conveniently missed was, "not that the others don't have their downsides," and the context that the comment about 3 having significant negatives (to go along with its positives) was in direct response to the prior poster's pointing out only the positives of 3 (in response, itself, to the two posters prior to that liking option 2).

Not a new building, part of the existing building.

I didn't really understand how they want to do this. Do you know what they mean by a "shell" and what's needed to make it happen?
