VDA

It is not club. It's the older teams before the new coaches/training method came into play at VSA into VDA. This claim is laughable for any team u14 or below

Confirmed. The new VSA teams are being taught kickball soccer. VDA is excellent while VSA is awful.

Don't forget PWSI.

VDA recruits players from outside clubs. Otherwise it’d be a mediocre club.

There is nothing wrong with PWSI; their academy program is far better than anything I saw in another club for little ones. They focus on skills so they can build muscle memory as they develop. Other clubs are just teaching to pass fast, with no focus on skills and being comfortable with the ball.

Which outside? must of their players are from between their program and they actually prefer to promote their own rather than bring from outside.

I’m a longtime VDA parent. VDA definitely brings in players from outside clubs. The core of DD’s team is PWSI/VSA and it’s been made stronger with outside additions. Your coaches would do the same, if they could.

DD was developed at one of the core clubs. She wasn’t forced to play 2 touch and win it all costs when she was 9 years old. It is paying off now.

We are very happy with the program.

We are very happy with the program. Do people complain about the drive? VDA isnt necessarily in the backyard of DMV. I assume it will always be split between VSA and PWSI. Herndon not getting much love for practice location?

100%. VDA is the winner with FVU going BRAVE 2.0 and NVA going GA.

What are you talking about? The VDA 07/2025 team has been a mediocre team at best for many years, until this year when FCV folded in and the trapped 06s dropped down.

They won FIVE mid-atlantic conf titles, then missed last years, then won this years. "mediocre team for many years" yet was the best team in conference for 5 of 6 years without new players this one year? Team also went to ECNL playoff finals in Richmond with 0 new players two years ago. You are an absolute clown.

Hey clown - you are referring to the 06/2024 team that won all those. The 07/2025 team was mediocre at best all those years. This year when the trapped 06s dropped down and merged with the few remaining VDA 2025s (plus the FCV kids), they won the MA. But don't let facts get in the way of your boast. Carry on!

Yeah, numbnuts, that's who I'm talking bout - 2006s dominated the area for yearssssssss. Carry on at your sad club

Way to change the goal posts, but you go on with your bad self.

Anyone have any experience with VDA's USL-Y (formerly Super-Y) program. How does the instruction compare to others in the area (Arlington, Loudon, etc).

DD is a U10 player and thinking about having her tryout.
Anonymous
There is no instruction with Super Y its just summer rec league. It is worth doing until u12-13 if you want to have inside track to top teams by 11v11 years.

Every club in the world recruits players from outside. Except for maybe Athletic Bilbao
