I'm glad you asked because I know my corgi-loving kid will ask and I better have an answer.

Were there any corgis left? I know she stopped getting more at one point.

She definitely had a dog or two in her final years.

Sounds like she stopped getting more in 2015. Most had died off by 2020, but then she was gifted a couple more in 2021.

She didn’t have many left.

I am sure the dogs are tied in very well to the caretakers and breeders. They may be given from the family back to one of those groups of people.

Does Charles' children have to call him something different now? Treat him differently? (I mean in private)

I like to think of it as they come with the house. All BP operations will continue the same for a while.

Yes. He is The King now. Even to his kids.

From what I've been able to find, she had four dogs in the end: two corgis, a dorgi, and a cocker spaniel

According to the British tabloids, the queen currently has two corgis named Muick and Sandy, a dorgi (corgi-dachshund mix) named Candy and, in a break from tradition, a cocker spaniel named Lissy.

At least as of May

Yes. He is The King now. Even to his kids.

But, what changes IN PRIVATE. Like if they used to call him father, do they call him your highness now? His grandkids. That seems so crazy.

All the swans or geese too, or whatever it is that the monarch owns.

Not automatically. There is an official investure ceremony at Caernarfon Castle in Wales.

While interviewing a royal news reporter, they said it was significant that Harry did not fly in with the rest of the family and he was in London. There is still no visual he arrived yet.

The first time you see the monarch, daily, you address them properly and bow or curtsy.
I don’t know how close you may be to just skip that altogether.
