Joe Rogan is an idiot but why would I cancel spotify? People are so stupid these days. If you don't agree with speech, don't listen to it. Why does everything always instantly go from 0 to 100 for speech that slightly discomforts you. "Fire him!" "Cancel her!" "Abolish the service" lmao

You can call it promotion, but I think part of what’s happening is that he already had a huge following, people knew he went to Spotify exclusively, so people sign up for Spotify and want to go directly to Joe Rogan.
People don’t realize, he was huge before the Spotify deal. He’d been podcasting for 10 years on his own and gained a following through word of mouth. Spotify didn’t buy his podcast out of nowhere.
The real question you should be asking yourself is how did Joe Rogan get so huge in the first place? That’s the “problem” you would really have to deal with, not just censoring his vaccine views.

That is exactly the question. Lots of people make money by shoveling bull crap to people. Buy it if you want. The rest of us don't have to patronize Spotify if we object to the money be made in that way.
