You can call it promotion, but I think part of what’s happening is that he already had a huge following, people knew he went to Spotify exclusively, so people sign up for Spotify and want to go directly to Joe Rogan.
People don’t realize, he was huge before the Spotify deal. He’d been podcasting for 10 years on his own and gained a following through word of mouth. Spotify didn’t buy his podcast out of nowhere. 
The real question you should be asking yourself is how did Joe Rogan get so huge in the first place? That’s the “problem” you would really have to deal with, not just censoring his vaccine views.[/quote]
