Looks like Mark Judge's book is gives some clues to the timing. Mark talks about his job at Safeway where he worked for a few weeks just before football camp to help pay for the camp. Kavanaugh's calendar shows when the football camp was and also refers to a gathering on July 1, where Judge was present.

July 1: “Go to Timmy’s for Skis w/ Judge, Tom, PJ, Bernie, Squi.” = likely the night in question with Dr. Ford

Safeway Encounter: Just before the football camp, which would have likely been between August 1 and August 21. The 6-8 weeks after the encounter that Dr. Ford referenced in her testimony would have fallen right around that window of time.

Football Camp: Starts August 22

Regarding Jeff Flakes’ commentary at the end. He talked about how he hoped everyone in the room understood that today had sewn doubts. I am hoping this was his way of explaining his vote but not really clear what he meant. He was a little cryptic.

Well, if there's doubt, don't do it. Choir boy is now an admitted drinker, using the Shaggy defense of, "It wasn't me." He is the most arrogant entitled prick. Nobody "deserves" this spot. And Lyndsey, shove it up your wahoo. They put Gorsuch on the bench. This guy is not a good one, and you were stupid and arrogant to put him up. He can't be an impartial judge now, he admitted it himself. He's a man scorned now, and he's going to get his revenge one way or another.
