To me they look like in their mid to late 60s |
So they were mid-late forties when they had him? Maybe that’s why they don’t parent. |
I honestly don’t think most people are as as riveted by the case as you seem to think. There are so many unsolved murders and killers out there. BL is just one more. Maybe my experience isn’t representative, but no one I know talks about it or is interested. They have moved on. |
Not that it matters but Brian is 24 and his parents are 62/55 respectively. Which means he was born when they were 38 and 31. |
|
Brian's dad says he has been asked by police today to help search for his son. Lawyer says he couldn't search up till now because the reserve is closed to the public. Right??!!

I’m so glad these people are getting the heat. Their future daughter in law who lived with them for 14 months is murdered and they don’t care one iota. They don’t report her missing for 11 days and don’t offer any help to find her. They lawyer up their guilty-as-sin son and enable him to escape, “forgetting” the day they last saw him, etc.
I truly hope the best years of their retirement are spent in prison. |
So, pretty young to be retired, especially the mother. |
What makes you think she ever worked? She could have been a SAHM. As for the the two together, I don’t think they had ‘normal’ jobs. They owned four properties, so I’m guessing he runs some kind of business or did. |
So sad . When I heard that this guy was missing in sane area after they found Gabby dead, I kept wishing their paths had crossed and maybe they each help eachother out of the pit both were in - and maybe still be alive . A simple happenstance of a greeting over coffee at a coffee shop …. |

Yes, Brian Laundrie’s folks look definitely older that mid-fifties > especially his own Father.
They look more like his Grandparents vs. simply his parents. |
My guess is he didn’t expect her to be found. One of the final text messages was “no service in Yosemite.” But they were in Teton. The only way we know they could find her was because a random duo accidentally left their go pro on, so police knew where to place the sighting of the van. If not for that, they may not have found her yet. |
My DD began telling me about it. I listened to all the details I already knew. The info about this case reached a new layer of people. I never read true crime before but this case took me down a path…and I read about disappearances in Panama. Scary. |
It’s been a few days. Most normal people don’t go to the pharmacy and post office daily. Grocery runs can be weekly or biweekly. You’re the weird one here. |
