But somebody is going to have to be, and it needs to happen sooner than later before the situation gets so awful that the only options left are not nice ones. These people really need to think about that.

The issue is that she is not ready to step in as President if she had to. I think everyone thought she was not ready with a year or so of seasoning. Based on what we are seeing I think that year time frame was a bit too little. She may never get there. Some VPs don't.

If Floyd didn’t die and he didn’t owe clyburn the presidency, he would’ve been less obliged to pick a black woman and would’ve gone for his persons choice — whitmer or raimondo (both who he really liked during interviews).
