I don't think anyone on this thread has thrown Nova publics into a nationally ranked conversation. This is ridiculous. In fact the thread has simply been about including Langley and Dominion in a group of the top four in Nova, not national or even in with SR, GV or SSSAS. It is evident you are the one poster who keeps stirring the pot. In exhibiting your strong dislike of public lacrosse programs you have managed to attack the OP's opinion, embarrass many in the private school community with your needless comments, you have insulted every public lacrosse program in the area, you have noted the public schools cannot beat the lower ISL teams, you have helped establish O'Connell and PVI lost to publics thus assume you feel these two programs are lower than the lower ISL teams. All this when the simple question was who would you replace on your list of top Nova teams if you don't feel Langley and Dominion belong. Don't understand why this is such a hard question for you to address, but clearly you have run circles around it, avoided a meaningful response, and managed to throw a lot of programs under the bus during your ride. Has this made you feel better. We all would still like your answer to the original question though. |
| I think someone is just upset that they are spending $40k a year for little Sally to ride the bench at a mid-tier private that wants to be better than it actually is and they think they can justify it by saying it’s at least better than VA publics (whether true or not). Cut them a break as they just want to live in their happy fantasy world. |

True. Top tier schools and their parents don’t care and don’t need to argue it. They have bigger fish to fry. |
yeah, thats it.

Latest rankings for DC Metro teams:
SR #4 Visi #10 SSSAS #11 GC #19 Also considered: BI |
| Interesting that McDonogh is ranked #7 and beat SR. 2 of 3 of McD's losses were against the current #1 SPSG and McDonogh's star didn't play in the other loss. |
SR best sssas by 1 tonight. |
SR was winning too. Then got into card trouble and played man down for a while. So hard to fully evaluate on that one game. |
Thought the games were Thursday and Friday? |
| SSSAS over SR 8-7 this afternoon. |
Well, well. Isn’t that interesting. Looks like Kathy still knows how to coach. How’s that crow taste, haters? |
Yep, the Empire strikes back…. |
Revenge of the Stick |
Of course Kathy still knows how to coach. Visi’s wins over Saints were a fluke - there were other things going on there. SR soundly defeated Visi but went 1-1 with Saints. SR and SSSAS are the top best teams in our area this year by far. |
| Too early to speculate on next season and if it will still be SSSAS and SR at the top or will Visi and BI be back? |
