The Canadian and Mexican figures are certainly largely dual nationals. Dunno how much summer vacation traffic there is to the Gulf resorts. I think you're just very angry and seeking to blame it on certain kinds of people to fit your narrative. Covid 19 spreads primarily through group settings like family gatherings (or crowded bars). |
The Mexican state of Sonora is closing the border to people from Arizona so they don't spread more virus into Mexico. https://www.star-telegram.com/news/nation-world/national/article243985782.html |
I'm not angry, you're talking to different people. The only thing that I posted on this thread was 'In other words - they went to Mexican beaches got sick and needed medevac assistance to the US...' and the reply to your response after it. If it fits the scenario it should be considered. |
65% of Fairfax Cty Hispanics tested positive. Inconvenient truths. |
The Mayor of Phoenix asked FEMA if they could send teams to perform testing.

Yes. But note that the 117 number includes 52 deaths from the effort the AZ Health Department is making to go back and review death certificates. Some of those deaths are from as far back as May. |
This 117 # is burned in to my head because it was the day after my beloved pastor died from covid-19. (And even though I'm pretty sure it takes a couple of days for a death to actually make it in to the #s so his probably wasn't yet included, that's the day I noticed.) It's amazing how few 117 deaths sounds until someone you love is one of them. |
Wouldn't getting rid of pregnancy tests be a great way to stop all those unwanted pregnancies? |
Why would you say something so controversial yet so brave? |
This. There are approximately 1.5 million Americans living FT in Mexico. Many many more who have 2nd homes in MX. When they get sick, they come home to the US for treatment- and not in Montana, NYC, or Ohio! They come to CA, AZ, & TX. CA AZ TX hospitals are absolutely flooded with patients who’ve crossed the border for treatment. And they are American citizens who have every right to be here. Furthermore, Latinos are at a higher risk of contracting covid, and becoming sicker- for a large number of reasons. This isn’t discussed much- for obvious reasons . |
But it's not just the Rio Grande Valley that is exploding in Texas. DFW too. |
seriously, Trump is the dumbest f*ck |
People crossing from Mexico is part of it. So is this. Even Gov Abbott said he opened too early.
