Hush on skin tone. Got it. Red Line attack-take 3

The media seems to have gone silent on this Metro attack. That's how I know the perps and the victim were all of color. No sensational racism. In fact, they want to downplay the horrific black on black crime, as if it shouldn't much matter to us.

Well, it DOES matter, whatever the skin color.

the last article I saw said they could "not positively identify them". Anyone have an update?

Well, who the heck is "they"? The victim? Do you really believe the man who was nearly beaten to death, doesn't know which criminals did it?

I suspect the cops is the "they," who have little interest in doing their job.

Did the press report the race of the victim? Or where he's from? Or how he's doing now?

I guarantee you that if the victim went public, people would be calling him with death threats and some gangbanger would be more than glad to 'help'

The victim's name (of such a crime) is normally reported by the media. It's not a matter of him deciding to "go public."

His wife was interviewed and her name was printed. It wouldn't be that hard to figure out from there. I was so surprised when I saw this if he wanted his privacy protected.

Since when do the cops ask you if you want your name available to the public?
They just don't.

Who interviewed her? Must have been only one source that carried that interview?

It was in the Washington Post. I'd guess she asked them not to print his name and they respected her request.

Was googling for a news update about this, and came across www.americanthinker.com
This metro attack is currently their lead story, with a fascinating twist. Ironic how my trusted NPR has reported nothing about this crime.

Still wondering about the perps of this horrific crime. Who let them back out on the street? I'm sure the victim would identify them, given the opportunity.

Look, we're not going to learn anything more. The police aren't releasing anything. There is nothing to be done. I feel for the victim, but give it a rest.

No. The victim and his family deserve some justice here.

I doubt you'd follow your own advice if the victim was your loved one.
