I just learned that we're paying Metro's top 16 executives an average of $198,700. Tops is Metro General Manager $350,000. in 2013. Is it that new guy now? What's he saying about Metro crime?

DC Metro looks like a cash cow to me. No wonder why it's broke. No one cares a shit.

Current Metro General Manager is Paul J. Wiedefeld at $397.500 plus "standard" benefits. The Metro Board of Directors picked him.

I'd love to see his job description, and exactly where Metro safety fits in, if at all.

Please also pressure the Mayor and Council to act on metro crime. They are the ones passing laws (limiting parking) and spending tax money (bike lanes, trolleys) to drive people from.cars to other forms.of transport including mass transit. They can't hold their noses on metro crime since they want us all using it. This McDuffie's ideas sound like great long term ideas but do not address the problems we are having now. He needs.to compromise with the Mayor on the problems we are having now or get out of the way.
