| I think the PP was specifically referring to work that was "just" done, which was in that price range. But great sleuthing nevertheless, Encyclopedia Brown. |
I am PP that asked about lamb just doing work. I meant why would ther spend the money in 2013 only to move 2016. I am not making assumptions or speculating but it struck me as odd that if they were planning to leave NE footprint why would they invest for work. |
Who do you think did? I'd PSP would they put lamb on permit? Would construction company list lamb as client? |
| FWIW, I just entered my own address on that site and I'm listed as the recipients of permits issued back when I was 10 years old so caveat emptor for any info those idiots provide. |
Huh?? |
You don't have a clue either way. Admin has said it's not Tree of life and there is no way that ere waiting for LAMB to head to Walter Reed. Anyone knows that's not on the cards for 2016. |
| We saw the Administration post regarding a change in the availability of a 'promised' site. Is there a possibility that they will move into the SS building after they move out as an interim move? Isnt Lee smaller than SS? |
| I think so? What is lee's upper grade atm? |
So basically, they're screwed? |
| Has SS announced their move? If not, when? |
| Maybe SS is staying put. |
No. Basically you don't have a clue. Someone posted the full email a couple of pages back. The promised site won't work out, but they are making progress on another site that is in very close proximity to the current building and meets all their criteria. If that didn't work out they have a back up. That back up almost certainly is not the current SSMA building because they have made it clear we will be close by. Also I don't think SSMA is bigger. Lee has more than 100 this year and will have more than 120 next year. The oldest kids are in year two of elementary which is second grade. Think this might be the same as SSMA? Didn't they drop third grade this year because they didn't have enough enrolled? |
| SSMA has a small-but-very-much-in-existence upper elementary classroom. |
| SSMA parent of a upper elementary student. Not sure where the previous poster got information on SSMA dropping a 3rd grade -- unless you mean Sela. There are both lower and upper elementary classrooms at Shining Stars. About 40 or students. Does count the kindergarten and preschool kids. Small, with great Guides and assistants. I think I heard the PTO say there were 180 children enrolled this year. Bursting at the seams and we definitely need to move to a larger space. |
| There are about 25 in SSMA lower elementary and 10 4th graders in upper elementary at SSMA. Last year they did have third grade. It was small, but impressive. |
