SR struggled but was missing a lot of talent. HC looked good too.

Visi missing their best player looked surprisingly good. Did they pick up any transfers?

My observation is that Visi just featured some of their younger talent yesterday. Some strong sophomores there, and Junior HG player went off. And they didn't have their Freshman playing either. Folks on the other thread who have discounted Visi, may have done so prematurely. That said, SR didn't have 5-6 of their top players, and the Saints weren't there at all.

Visi freshman were robbed in a braveheart vs HC. They also lost to PVI and SR 8th graders.

8th graders? Do they not have freshman to play in the JV div? What happened to this "deep" team??

It was a mix of SR 8th and 9th graders in the JV bracket, which SR won.

The Stone Ridge 2029s are building quite a reputation for getting it done on and off the field - way to go girls!

Please explain. There is maybe one 29 at SR that will get some varsity time but the SR class to watch for is the 30s. They won the JV fall bracket.

I believe the prior comment was actually a thinly veiled dig at the social activities of the SR 29 girls, which has been extensively covered in a now-locked thread in another forum.

Exactly! but it wasn't a dig, I admire that these girls know how to party, and are extremely pretty/popular with boys at the local privates, but at the same time they are extremely good lacrosse players.

Unnecessary and creepy comment from a sad person.

15 is barely legal now so nothing wrong here.

In no world is this true. It is the second least academic girls school in the ISL (and soundly in the bottom half if all member schools are included).

Congrats to Battlefield for finishing second in the B division. Not even Battlefield should read too much into 7v7 short-field no-draw players missing victories. It was just for fun.

Hey dumb dumb. I hate to tell you but Battlefield was in the highest bracket. Which is why Potomac played Visi for the championship. Duh

But you are right. They did have a bad point differential. Rumor is that they are very light in upperclassmen

Potomac should have been in the A group, and probably Battlefield too. But B was definitely the lower of the two Command groups.

Definitely top in lax - not so much in academics but plenty to be prepared for college. Perhaps they are leaving to get some actual coaching instead of being bullied, intimidated and screamed at on and off the field. The coach is toxic and the school knows all about it and allows it to go on unchecked.
