What rules are you breaking that work for you?

I use my queen comforter E/w instead of n/s. We don’t pull UP on the covers but do pull side to side.

No one knows what you are talking about.

Comforters aren't square. I just lost my man card somewhere.

I always do this.

My sister had a friend whose husband was burned to death from sparks catching fire while doing this. His estate was sued for damage to the station and for burning a nearby patron.

I purchase vacuum cleaners, dresses for black tie events, mops with washable cloths for one time use and return them. Anytime I need to deep clean or go to a special event - I purchase the item- use it and return it.

Lol yes! They are rectangles that tend to be longer N/S so you can fold the top over or some stupid sh-t.

+1

I do this too.

I hover in the office bathroom. I join in with the others when they complain about how dirty the stall is.

Same here. I fell pretty royal because of it too

I’m so excited to just throw away my plates. I work long hours and this is just really lovely. I love Americans for bringing this lazy habit into my life.

I'm happy to meet a kindred spirit. I use paperware with regular utensils and glasses (just because I like the way they feel). Paper napkins, paper towels--it's all so time-saving.

This one is terrible. Plastic is destroying our oceans and planet. You are a contributor and not a good person, imo.

Good thing the PP is using paper not plastic.

It's not technically breaking any rules . . . these are all localities that give a card to any Virginia resident or which have reciprocity where I live. So I have 78 e-books checked out right now, which is obviously more than I can possibly read. I feel kind of bad about bogarting so many books, and I try to return ones that have a wait list after me if I know I won't pick it up any time soon, but ultimately I am a book hog.

I just enjoy searching for books that I might want to read and collecting them, all for free. It's fun. Sometimes I'll read 20% of a book and think I'll finish it, but I pick up something else and never get back to the old one. I could be more deliberate about deciding I'm through with a book and returning it straight away. But also . . . libraries are there to be used. They're a public good. Instead of going to the library and reading two chapters before heading to check out, I do it this way.

A variation of the Columbia House record and tape club membership?

Please don't do this!

I also never turn my car off. It’s totally fine!
it’s been fine so far. Doesn’t mean it always will be. Turn the car off.

I work in the petroleum industry and I can affirm it is most certainly NOT fine. Knock it off!

Funny. I ALSO work in the petroleum industry and I say it's fine.

I turn my car off when pumping gas, but I don’t see the harm in leaving the engine running. Isn’t the biggest “danger” when you start the car, when there is a spark?

I basically only shower on Friday mornings, bc that's the day I go into the office. Sundays through Thursdays I normally just work from home and do errands so don't bother.
