What rules are you breaking that work for you?

Please don't do this!

So dangerous! I’ve left stations if people are doing this.

It’s really not. What ignition source do you think is present in the fuel tank when you’re filling the tank with the engine running?

So you think those signs at gas stations that say 'DO NOT FUEL WITH ENGINE RUNNING' are just there for funsies?

And I’m sure you read the manuals for everything you own and follow everything to a T.

And of course it's unheard of for lawyers to recommend useless things for liability reasons. Or for regulations to fall behind technology.

I do tend to do that for things that can explode, yes.

I use my queen comforter E/w instead of n/s. We don’t pull UP on the covers but do pull side to side.

No one knows what you are talking about.

How do you do this now where you have reserved seating?

Well let's think about that...... not many have reserved seating. They don't go to theaters with reserved seating? Get it? It's not hard.

People have like, four or 12 different knives they use for different foods, but I assure you, you can just use a steak knife that came in a set from Bed Bath & Beyond for everything.

Oh my god, this post made me shudder.

You probably could get away with one good knife for your food prep, but it absolutely would NOT be a steak knife.

Probably fine if you never actually good, but I can't imagine preparing a meal with a steak knife

I have 11 active library cards. It's not technically breaking any rules . . . these are all localities that give a card to any Virginia resident or which have reciprocity where I live. So I have 78 e-books checked out right now, which is obviously more than I can possibly read. I feel kind of bad about bogarting so many books, and I try to return ones that have a wait list after me if I know I won't pick it up any time soon, but ultimately I am a book hog.

I just enjoy searching for books that I might want to read and collecting them, all for free. It's fun. Sometimes I'll read 20% of a book and think I'll finish it, but I pick up something else and never get back to the old one. I could be more deliberate about deciding I'm through with a book and returning it straight away. But also . . . libraries are there to be used. They're a public good. Instead of going to the library and reading two chapters before heading to check out, I do it this way.

This is interesting. I didn't know there were wait lists for e-books at all. Do your e-books get overdue? Do they just remove the access to you when that happens and you have to check it out again? Do you also just add things to your netflix watchlist and never watch?

I’m so excited to just throw away my plates. I work long hours and this is just really lovely. I love Americans for bringing this lazy habit into my life.

I'm happy to meet a kindred spirit. I use paperware with regular utensils and glasses (just because I like the way they feel). Paper napkins, paper towels--it's all so time-saving.

Anonymous wrote:I ride the HOV lane to and from work - as a single occupant. My office is 60 miles away which is 2 hours on LA freeways if I don't ride HOV, 1.5 hrs if I do ride HOV. That saves me a few hours a week. Worth it to me. Have never been caught but am aware that one day it may happen. It helps that I have tinted windows, and that I don't feel intimidated when I see a cop nearby, I just keep it moving. It's those who suddenly pull out of the HOV lane that catch the attention of CHiPS and get pulled over.

Do they not use infrared tech there?

NP. East/West vs North/South. In other words- use the length to cover more width- as that is the tension point with two sleepers.

We just bought King size bedding-even when we still slept in a full.
