Queen Elizabeth Platinum Jubilee

I’m sure they are aware and will make changes after the Queen dies. I bet they cut back A LOT.

Nobody likes Charles and his wife is cringe worthy.
William is bland and boring and has shielded his kids too much from the media. None of them have the kind of celebrity status he and Harry had.

Harry is right to not be a working royal. His branch of the family is not important, but he is of utmost importance in keeping up the interest in royalty. Nobody else is that interesting

The problem with Will isn’t that he is bland and has protected his kids. If that was his issue, they would be okay. People understand protecting the kids. The problem is that he is a jerk with an anger problem, and people do not like him. Therefore he doesn’t draw people to the monarchy, especially the younger generation. Kate does what she can but Will is a real liability.

It is true Harry is much more interesting and personable. But I agree Harry was right to flee.

There is no factual basis. But at least Will was smart enough to get into University, much less graduate, unlike his brother.

Comments like this, and the ones that fawn over Kate while taking pot shots at Meghan, undermine Will and Kate and the monarchy's popularity. It's hard to like them when their supporters are so obnoxious.

Did you bother to read the posts the above was replying? See any pot shots at anyone else? Curious that you are so blinded by your own bias.

The comments don't undermine anyone. Only in your imagination does that happen.

Prince William's A level results

A in Geography
B in Art
C in Biology

Both Geography and Art are considered completely soft subjects in the Uk, not serious A levels for universities. Obviously getting a C in Bio is pretty shit too.

What does he need an A in biology for? Will it make him more competitive for a GS-12 position?

I'm not and cringe at both. My post was meant more as a tip for people who want to see the monarchy survive. They're not helping their cause.

Americans have nothing to do with whether the monarchy survives or not.

+1. Kate and Will got the biggest crowd cheer of all the royals yesterday. They also have high popularity ratings.

all she does is ride horses - and that's not sporty?

I don’t think riding horses can be attributed to keeping a slender figure. Maybe she did a lot hiking. She was outdoorsy.

Probably tightly controlled portions too. Not in a bad way; it's so easy to eat more calories than you need. (God knows I do it all the time).

It’s also easier to eat tightly controlled portions when you know that every day of your life, no matter what it costs, you’ll have access to fresh, healthy, wonderfully prepared food.
I’d also argue that riding horses is, indeed, sporty, and can do great things for your core — although I’d agree that the horse is getting the most exercise.

His children are 8, 7, and 4. What exactly do you think they should be doing differently. We see pictures of them here and there and they are at this enormous public celebration. They aren't child actors.

She doesn't eat. Not like starving herself like Kate but if you watch videos of the Queen's chefs - she doesn't like seasoning or anything to add flavor (garlic, rare spices etc) and both she and her mother drank continuously throughout the day.

This is absolutely true.

Also - where are you all watching the coverage? I've only seen snippets and I want to see the clothes!!
