just as easy to address them as "students" instead of "girls". Addressing them as "students" is WAY more relevant to what they are doing and why they are all together. just saying.

You can call them what you wish which is exactly the point. I should not be forbidden from addressing a group of girls as girls to fulfill some type of fantasy. Strip them of their girlhood, discard their individual existences, sweep away their shared histories. This type of stupidity is why Trump was elected. Keep it up and you’ll see a conservative triumph in all fifty states.

Being polite is allowing all points of view not just the one that’s politically popular at the moment.

Is that like saying teachers must teach all sides of the "debate" regarding the Holocaust. Call people what they want to be called, or else be ready to be called an insufferable, selfish bigot.

Maybe don’t attend a girls school if being called a girl is offensive to you?

The issue is complex, while your understanding of it is not.

My daughter knows two girls (sisters) who both do not identify as their biological gender that are both at the same Catholic all girls school. Interesting dynamic considering the family is extremely conservative Catholic. But as far as I know, the school supports them, which is great.
