No, the argument when that happens is “political witch hunt! Lawfare! Unfair prosecution!” Remember that conservatism is just about protecting the in group members and punishing the out group members. The equal application of the law, as with Feeding our Future’s prosecution (which has been a big news item up here in Minnesota for months and months), baffles and confuses Republicans.
