If only happy Valor parents posted in this thread it would only be one page long. Why so defensive? A conversation is not "trolling". |
Got it -- converse on! |
Well, the Valor Marketing dude would know whether the coach of the year was ever carded for bad behavior. I am sure he will pop up any minute now to clear things up.

here you go -- regarding NVA --
Dear Virginia Valor FC Family, We would like to share an update regarding our partnership with NVA, which has served as our current pathway within the ECNL league structure. In light of NVA’s decision to pursue a path no longer aligned with the ECNL framework, we have mutually agreed to conclude our partnership. Looking ahead to the 2025/2026 season, we are actively exploring new relationships with local organizations to establish a clear and tangible pathway from our Regional League to the National League within ECNL. As a Regional League member of ECNL, we believe that the competition level in our local area is well-suited for our teams. This approach eliminates the need for extensive out-of-state league travel while still providing opportunities for postseason play and allowing players to participate in their high school seasons. We regard leagues, showcase events, and collaboration with local, regional, and national clubs as vital tools for our players’ development. We continue to value the competition and opportunities offered by ECNL, and we are confident that our training environment, coaching staff, and club-wide philosophy will enable every athlete to achieve their personal goals. Thank you for your continued trust. We look forward to supporting our players’ growth throughout the remainder of this season and beyond. Sincerely, Your Club Leadership Team Virginia Valor FC |
Its really an unnecessary marketing gimmick
for gullible parents of u-littles. Hardly any Valor kids made the NVA team. They didn't get any special consideration or leg up. |
But should they have? If they aren't good enough, they aren't good enough. And judging by what people are writing here, they aren't getting the training to make them the player they need to be to compete within ECNL. |
No Valor should just be honest that they don't provide high level training or high level teams. Its the walmart of soccer clubs. |
yes many kids should have made it. But Loudoun is incestuous. |
until they fire coaches who want to run Valor like Rec they will never be successful. |
This is very unfair to Walmart. Walmart offers products at a good value. Valor is one of the most expensive clubs. |
With the local ECNL regional league losing teams like NVA and McLean, what does that mean for Valor? Longer travel for league games? |
Yes and lesser quality teams would be my other concern. We are not happy the pathway we signed up for is now gone. I really don't want to look at places like VDA because I don't like the coaches but there aren't many other options besides jumping to a GA team at this point to get out from under the regional level that my DD doesn't want or should play at. |
We are running, not walking away from Valor. I have been burned before and WILL NOT be burned again. RUN NOT TO WALK or better yet, not come here AT ALL!!!!! They will sell you a dream, a crack heard dream.SMH How is it possible we do not have the SPRING schedule yet??? We should be playing games and not sitting Idol. What we have been playing is sub-par and crap. Note to coach: Find a real challenge for the team and do not sugarcoat the sub-par training or lack of training you claim will make them better. I AM DONE!!!! I cannot get my child out of Valor fast enough!!! |
How was the winter training? Another season of elite inner squad futsal ? |
To be fair, not many clubs know their spring schedule yet. Many counties are slow to release their spring field allotments. |
