Can someone remind me what neighborhoods are RP2 and RP6?

Who were the 5 who voted in favor of B?

O'Neill
Durso
Evans
Dixon?
Docca?

I know Smondrowski abstained.

All current 4th graders will stay at their current school for next year.

4th graders go to 5th at the same schools next year. At CG3, 2-4 go to 3-5 next year. All others going forward go to their new school.

The BOE did what was right, it was a tough call but they made the right one. Most of the Rockville community was for option A or B.

Odd not much support for option E, and two members even put forward option D over option E.

For those not easily able to see the maps, here's a brief description:

RM #5 will include all of the area between 270 and 355(tracks) north to Jefferson St. which is the zones (from south to north)
B3
B2
RP6
RP2
B7
B5s
B6s

In addition CG3 moves to Beall.

Probably you saw a different stream than others. Two who voted against B are the ones voted for E.

Anyway, time to move on. No decision would have made everyone happy.

It's a good option because it leaves capacity in Beall. So many developments in B5N, this was the only sensible option.

It will just be Kindergarten and 1st grade only from WG so I’m sure it will be fine.

Dixon was alone with D. She made a fantastic point, even though I won't do the way she was trying to solve it.

Leave WG alone everyone. WG made out sized noise when there was bigger concerns from all other zones. They were rightly ignored by BOE. WG will be fine after few years. Np one will care that it's in Beall after few years.
