Fairfax County Double Murder

Lol… From photos, it seems like she’s been around for a while now so she’s an older dog. Probably sleeping.

I'm a friend of BB, the one whose posts got deleted a few months ago for mentioning BB's daughters name. I still lurk, just don't post.

I can confirm BB went to McDonald's often, and he was a tech nerd who loved to show off his toys (phones, teslas, etc). He also enjoyed listening and learning about your new gadgetry. As a guy, we just generally like techy stuff.

After CB's death, the entire bedroom had to be rebuilt. To stay busy BB also remodeled his bathroom (I think by himself).

To the best of my understanding he is still getting paid by the IRS and he has taken up a handful of gig jobs to stay busy. The gig jobs also explain the speeding tickets, as one of the jobs was doing uber/lyft, etc. It probably does mean he's under tremendous LEO scrutiny and they are most certainly observing/watching him to lock him up.

The first phone call came from the basement, not the bedroom, and it was the second call where you can hear Joe in the background. I imagine BB asked AP to get the second gun so she could keep it pointed at JR while he administered aid to CB.

CB and BB were in open relationships, I don't know anything about c*cking, but I can confirm for 10 years through mutual friends that they have both been unfaithful. So it should be no surprise that CB was on some sites. Fetish sites though? I don't know, she seemed pretty vanilla but you never know what gets people off in the bedroom.

Getting a new phone and going to a gun range are very normal things for BB to do. Bringing the AP with? Maybe because he was having an affair, maybe she just wanted to learn to shoot, who knows. Maybe it was to get her to train to kill.

Now, all that being said, I still am very on the fence about if he did this or not. There is a part of me that thinks he did, because why would he bring AP/daughter into the house? But besides that, the timeline seems somewhat realistic to me.

BB gets a phone call from AP about an unknown car in the driveway and CB is not answering. He goes home, and tries to assess if CB is with another person. AP calls police, but doesn't know if anything is wrong and hangs up. When he goes inside the bedroom all pets are off. According the bond hearing AP heard BB screaming put the knife down and she ran to the bedroom.

All of this seems plausible, but I don't know the motive from JR, but that doesn't mean there wasn't one. Doesn't mean it wasn't setup from BB or, maybe, AP set the entire thing up.

Let's say AP wanted to get CB & BB divorced, and didn't know that CB was also (knowingly to BB) having affairs. Maybe she is psychotic and thought somehow, given that everybody knows that BB is extremely protective over his family and was a LEO, maybe he'd draw his gun on someone with a knife to his wife which would put an entire scenario on red alert. Maybe it was never her intention to get someone killed, maybe it was to get them divorced in some sick, twisted, stupid manner.

The truth is we don't know what happened. BB isn't saying anything, which is what his lawyer told him to do day 1. "Don't say anything to anyone"

If CB and BB were knowingly to each other in open relationships why did BB react so suspiciously to a strange car in front of his house? Why wouldn’t he just assume that CB had a friend over and tell the AP not to worry about it.

Something about that has been bothering me too. If my husband/or I came home and saw a car in our driveway we'd think there was someone doing something in the house- like a repair, etc. I wouldn't freak out as my first thought. Especially for Juliana to have that reaction, its not her home/she's an employee - so why was she so triggered by seeing someone go into the home. There was no forced entry, so wouldn't she have thought it was someone her employer knew and mind her own business? Anyway this part of the story is a little strange to me.

If the plan had been for the AP to take the kid to the zoo and mom’s plan was to enjoy peace and quiet/alone time and/or there were no planned visitors, I could see why the appearance of an unknown car in the driveway might trigger alarm bells.

You think an AP knows about every visitor, vendor, etc who comes to their employers home?

Imagine the scene- Joe's car was IN the driveway. Not around the block, hidden, etc. In plain site of everyone, cameras, etc. AP claims she saw him enter the home. He didn't sneak in a back door, windows or try to break in. He walked in obviously knowing it was unlocked. I don't think any of this is enough to sound alarm bells and need to call a husband who isn't even home.

I think it’s not unreasonable that after a year, an AP would be kept in the loop as to whom may or may not be expected to be coming to the house at any given time.

Not when she is expected to be in DC for hours.

Do we know if AP and the child were supposed to be going to the NATIONAL ZOO? Or were they going to the Reston Zoo/NovaWild? Driving into DC from Herndon at 8:00 a.m. on a weekday is not an easy drive. Was she that familiar with driving in DC? I could see her going to NovaWild or Frying Pan Park... but actually, NovaWild didn't open until 10:00 a.m. So that doesn't fit.

Didn't someone say something about buying tickets for the zoo? You don't need tickets to go to the National Zoo, right? And you don't need tickets for Frying PAn Park (which is just around the corner from their house). You just walk in. You do need tickets for Reston Zoo/aka NovaWild... but they aren't open that early. Hmmm.

The National Zoo in DC has required tickets for several years now. Hours are 8-6.

Of course the zoo sells food so there was no actual need to return to the house, just a made up one.

Anonymous wrote:Agree that my first thought also wouldn't be danger/home invasion. If only a short time had elapsed from AP and the child leaving the house, to returning, it would be strange to see a car there - it's early in the morning, maybe CB herself was still getting ready.. if i was the AP I would feel uncertain, so calling CB then BB seems pretty understandable. If BB suspected affair going on, makes sense he goes in. As for the child, maybe AP and her entered because she didn't want to be left outside, was tired, wanted to see her mommy again etc? Any number of reasons.. it may not "look smart" but that doesn't mean anything. If this was all part of the plan I highly doubt BB would want his own child to come in and possibly witness it or get hurt accidentally.. so them going into the house just feels like more of genuine concern/curiosity who was at the house and why. As for the AP going to help BB when she heard shouts - panic, shock and fear would erase rationality of taking child out of house. It's very possible she thought she could help and told the child to stay put. Same with BB telling her to get other gun - if he was in shock over the scene and he's shot once, now rushing to CB's aid, I can understand him saying that so a gun is kept pointed at JR since he's still alive.

First hang up was from basement/au pair suite per his friend posting. Maybe the child was locked downstairs to prevent her walking in on a sexual or criminal "scene?"

Per 2 people on this board who were at the hearing in person, the hangup call had a man moaning in agony in the background so... not sure the "friend" has/is giving all the facts.

There was more than 1 call to 911, it's in most of the news articles. Makes sense 1st hang up was from au pair suite as that is likely where the child was stashed.

Are you saying there were 2 hang ups? Multiple attendees to Mondays hearing said there was a man moaning in pain during a hangup call.

Yes.

Then the 2nd is even more sus. A man was dying. They hung up??

Was the 2nd call a hang up? I thought they told 911 that they shot someone?

It has been reported that there were 2 hang up calls and 1 call where they spoke.

One of the hang up calls had a man groaning in the background. So, obviously they had already shot him. Which means CB was already mortally stabbed. You would think calling an ambulance would be the priority. Nope. Hang up the phone and wait 13 whole minutes for her to bleed out.

Especially with a clotting disorder. Anyone capable of doing this, never mind with a 4 year old in the home, needs to go away for a VERY long time.

Would you, if you would catch her cheating on you and then this whole chaos played out ?

Yes I would write an obit for my spouse! I would think most people would? Even if my spouse cheated, that’s still the parent of my child who was unjustly murdered. I would think most people would want to remember the good qualities of their spouse and celebrate their memory.

Is it correct that

AP called 911 from the basement, then hung up.

AP called 911 from the upstairs bdrm and hung up, but there are sounds of someone moaning. AP didn't say anything to operator during this short call?

BB or AP called 911 again from bdrm and said that a man had been shot?

I don't believe those calls have been publicly released.

Summaries of them are in many news articles that will come up in Google. DC News Now, WP and FF Connect have all done long pieces.

The chaos was purportedly BB defending his wife, no?

So you would kill a man who was stabbing your wife (after she was killed of course!) but wouldn’t write an obit for her? Something her daughter could read one day?

And I thought Bb caught JR killing his wife, not his wife cheating? Which story is it?

Yes, but they are not on released so they can be listened to on Ytube nor have transcripts been released. They have been summarized in news accounts.

That sounds like a correct summary. Which makes me feel like AP was just panicking the entire time, which might explain why her actions don’t entirely make sense

And definitely does not sound planned.

It’s a fair question. If the wife had made arrangements for someone to come over for the purpose being reported, she presumably would have gotten the dog out of the way.

Nope. Then how would they have tag team killed JR and CB? If she had never returned for those lunches, BB would have still been stuck in the marriage he desperately wanted out of.
