Thank you for the reminder of the date. Will it be televised as far as you know? |

Neighbor here. Not at the B house. 4th house down from it. Lots of cameras and filming equipment. Just wondering if anyone had any ideas.
I watched the (unexciting) trial live. Poured over the voluminous amount of data on the Fairfax County website regarding the case. I then watched the trial two additional times and this is what I came away with that makes me question the result. In no particular order and realizing this won’t be popular. 1. BB was excluded from having any DNA on the knife. Only JR’s DNA on knife. How do you kill someone and leave no DNA? Also, the only DNA on JR’s zipper was CB and JR. 2. Knife came from JR’s grandmother’s house, where he was living. JR sent picture of knife to CB. Knife sitting on GM’s counter with the rest of the set. 3. Only JR had contusions/cuts on his hands, consistent with making stabbing motions. BB, no wounds per ME testimony and photos. 4. Odd that during proffer video, JPM states she doesn’t know any of the passwords. In another clip JPM says BB made her memorize them. 5. Expert witness Harry PP presentation shows BB at locations in FLETC Reston location and gas station, with corresponding email logins from the same locations, while CB was communicating with JR from a different location (job). 6. Forensic Detective Brendan Miller slideshow of Executive Summary to superiors saying CB never lost control of her devices. 7. When Miller’s command chain (Barusch, Giaccio) questioned Miller’s results, they determined the results needed a peer review and sent his analysis and findings to an independent peer review. The peer review sustained Miller’s findings that CB never lost control of her devices. This second review was unprecedented at the time. Miller’s command chain dug their heals in and insisted, because of Fayez and Barusch, that it was a catfishing scheme. 8. There is an email from command, asking Miller to “revisit” his Executive Summary. He refused to change the outcome of the forensic analysis he performed. 9. Under oath, Barusch had to admit that he stated the Miller would never work a major case forensically again. (Testimony during a motion hearing) He resigned or was fired day(s) later. 10. Testimony of Miller stating he was transferred out against his will. (Because of this case (and refusing to change his analysis)) 11. Almost every Detective who worked this case was removed or “promoted” out. Draw your own conclusions. 12. Interview with Lead Detective Kyle Bryant telling CB’s family that she never lost control of her devices. Removed from case except to testify in open court. 13. DA J Sands stating during opening statement said BB manipulated JR’s body. JPM in initial interview states BB never touched JR. Then, JPM proffer video with disgraced Commonwealth DA Clingan stating she never saw BB touch JR. At trial JPM testified BB never touched JR. DA J Sands mistaken or lying? Pretty strong statement to make at opening when no evidence presented or proven. Clingan also removed from case-allegedly fired or resigned. 14. Victim’s advocate Saly Fayez allegedly created the Catfishing story and sold it to her alleged boyfriend, Patrick Barusch, Major of the Major Crimes Bureau. Barusch subsequently resigned after testifying during a motion procedure during the BB investigation over the Brendan Miller issue. 15. JPM testified BB bought windows as part of the plan. CB messages show CB researching windows in 2021 and finalizing purchase with Triple Pane July ‘22. Do your own research.
The call is coming from inside the house. but seriously. you write interesting fan fiction. |
And it certainly seems that evil disregard for others, for consequences, for decency and for truth also applies to the “apologist” who wrote that long diatribe one page back. And we all know who that person is. |
It will be. |
| The Dateline episode airs this Friday. |
| I'm wondering if the Dateline episode will contain anything new (like interviews with friends and family that weren't on 20/20). I checked my program guide and it's not airing in my TV market due to basketball coverage unfortunately. I think it might air the next day on Peacock. |
| The Court Junkie podcast just aired a two part episode on Banfield. Listening to his testimony was infuriating. It was worse than reading the summaries during the trial. Such a slimy liar. So obviously lying. And saying Christine’s last words were “I’m sorry.” God, what a piece of shit. Can’t wait for him to rot in jail. |
| Mandatory life sentence to be given on May 8th. I will throw a party in honor of the Victims. Rot in hell Brendan. Shame on Tess and Bob. Snakes. |
It was truly heinous, but at least on appeal the CW’s case will be even stronger. |
